Maybe my mate got it wrong 😀

They probably just looked at the chart that you have shown and assumed that away fans would be charged the same, but as I said it’s not necessarily the case.

It’s just that clubs can’t charge more but it doesn’t mean they can’t charge less.

We charge away fans the same price as fans behind the goal even though they are in the corner.

The other three corners of are ground pay £4 per match more than the away fans.

There will be certain teams (Leeds, Wednesday) where I will simply refuse to to go them.

If a ticket is £36, plus £2 postage and £1 booking fee - £39 is ridiculous.

I'll simply go on holiday to watch it (If that option still exists next year) or as it seems many more games will be on tele, watch that way.

Hopefully Leeds, if they don’t go up will carry on with their reciprocal arrangement and we agree to it.

If that had been the case the season just concluded we would have charged them £24.

One or two other clubs do this as well, possibly Swansea but I’m not certain.

I think Millwall is 63 plus a good discount for armed forces.

I’ve checked and Swansea is 65 and over, I think it was previously 60 and over.

They are another one that gives a discount for armed forces.

West Brom were only charged £27 at Sheffield Wednesday this season. Stoke were charged £30. Even Leeds were “only” charged £36.

Southampton were charged £36 on the opening day of the season but the club subsidised the tickets down to £30.

My mate is also a Wednesday season ticket holder and he told me. We would obviously be either Cat A or B, and equivalent to the Kop stand

Those prices are for home fans, they don’t have to charge the same for away fans ( we don’t) just that they can’t charge more.

The price for cat A game for away supporters is £36/ £26 which I quoted in the original list not the £33/ £26 above.

Obviously this could change in the upcoming season but no match day prices are available yet.

Again if you have proof that any club was charged more than this last season please share with us.

Wait until you go to Leeds and Sheffield Wed, theirs is over £40.00 a ticket

Have you any evidence that Sheffield Wednesday charge over £40.

I believe the price I have quoted, £33/ £26 is their cat A price.

I've not had an email so I can't comment on what the club thinks my stats are. Any road up, I've seen 8 games at Pride Park during the 23/24 season. That's around 750 minutes. Seen 7 wins and a draw for a total of 22 points from a possible 24. Travelled some 4500 miles in the process. I did have a balti pie at one of the games so I helped that stat along. Also had a cheeseburger in the concourse at another game, not an experience I'm likely to repeat.

Hopefully, I can equal the above next season... minus the cheeseburger, of course.

Including cup games and pre season friendlies I have been to 58 matches and drove just under 7,000 miles and I haven’t been out of the country 😂

I have had a pasty a few times but I’m not sure if they count.

Ah yes, good old Leeds - couldn't sell out their away allocation at QPR last Friday (half a stand empty if you see the telly pictures) & definite drop off in parking around mine as they're unlikely to go up today. Their support is the biggest myth in English football.

Am interested to see how we get on with away numbers next season. A combination of new grounds to visit, suppressed supply with tiny away ends & a fantastic away record meant demand was as high as I've ever seen it this season just gone. Now we've got bigger away ends & a better spread of clubs in the North/Midlands but telly moving kick off times everywhere & inevitable drop off of away form against better opposition. To be fair, I won't miss the panic of trying to book tickets at 10am along with hundreds of others!

Leeds sold out the full allocation of 1,816.

I thought that figure was very low. I mean 26k crowd at 24 home games so less than 1000 pies per match … hummmm . … Warne out ! 🤣

There is 23 home games, so it’s 1,132.7 pies per game
It’s shameful how some fans manipulate stats to try to get the manager sacked 😉

So my stats are short 7 games worth of minutes and the miles from round trips to Crewe and Nottingham

Did you miss one or miscount, we had 8 cup games, 6 at home and 2 away.

I was wondering that. Surely Bolton would have filled the away end - if the tickets were available!

I don’t know the details but it looks like a petty tit for tat deal with fans losing out.

Two clubs with away ends holding around 5,000 yet both allocations 2,163🤷🏻‍♂️

Bolton sold their allocation within minutes of going on sale.

    Yep. Had mine.

As a ST holder, It's assuming I turned up to every home game (Which I didn't).
Don't know whether they've included my solitary away game (Lincoln).

49 points for me... 53% of the total.
    Over 2070 mins.

I like the fact that we've sold 26,053 pies whilst I've been at the games... and I don't believe we ever got down to the last one, at any given game! 😁

That’s exactly the same amount of pies sold while I was there. We must have been entering and leaving the ground at the same time.☺️

Have you had a personalised email from the Club telling you how many minutes of football you've watched, and various other stats from home and away?

It's a brilliant touch, and a reward for those fans who put in some hard miles.

I won't spoil it for anyone, but read right through to the end!

Here's a snippet from mine. Not bad for saying I cracked an ankle bone and was in a brace for several weeks mid-season.

I'm bet @Foreveram has a better one though.

How many d'you reckon Florist will give us and at what price?

A few variables there, first they have to go down 🙏

Premier rules are different to EFL, there is a £30 maximum for away fans in the premier , which florist have been charging, no limit in the championship.

Again in the premier league I think clubs are supposed to give 3,000 to away fans subject to ground capacity etc, the dogs were only giving 2,000 tickets to away fans before they went up.

  15. Last seasons thread seemed fairly popular with over one hundred thousand views so I thought I’d try and find out a bit of what we can expect for next season.

As we know, because they told us so, nobody has more away fans than Leeds so I have looked at their away ticket allocations and prices they were charged for the season now ending.

Interestingly they had a reciprocal agreement with a few clubs to set the price for both sets of fans so I have noted this accordingly.

Obviously we don’t know exactly who we are playing yet but I will try and amend this when we have the final tables.

I have noted the full allocation and adult and over 65 price.

Leeds I have based on what Southampton fans are paying.

    Ipswich. 2,000.  £34/ £27

Leeds. 2.018. £47. Cheaper with clubs with reciprocal deals.

    Southampton. 2,825. £30/ £25.

    Norwich. 2,022. 36/26 reciprocal.

    WBA. 2,009. £28/ £23.

    Hull. 2,083. £24/ £16.

    Middlesbo. 2,571. £29/ £ 21.

    Coventry. 2,529. £37/ £32.

    Preston. 5,644. £28/ £20 reciprocal.

    Bristol City. 3,000. £30/ £26.

    Cardiff. 3,213. £21/ £16 reciprocal.

    Swansea. 1,971. £34/ £21.

    Watford. 2,104. £20/ £10.

    Sunderland. 2,000. £29/ £26. reciprocal.

    Millwall. 2,008. £32/ £22.

    QPR. 1,816. £31/ £22.

    Stoke. 2,604. £25/ £19. reciprocal.

    Blackburn. 7,337. £30/ £24.

    Sheff Wed. 3,869. £36/ £26.

    Plymouth. 1,734. £26/ £21.

    Birmingham. 2,227. £30/ £25 reciprocal.
