So has he chosen to put his money in the stadium rather than the club?
Guess we'll find out soon enough, Surely must be paying outstanding loans against PP and MF or MSD take over...only an opinion from a multitude of scenarios tho.

WigAn were charged £2,266,930.25 by Begbies a 3rd rate outfit and we will be more complicated than them¢64, I have been thru 4 administrations 1 putting into administration and 3 buying from an administrator.
They only want to clock as many hours as possible because they charge an hourly rate , including admin staff back in their offices at £150/hour thru to ¢650-700/hr for a partner.
Wigans average was £367/hour well over 4000 hours
I worked at Midland Car Parts in Derby a few years back, Went into Admin, Grant-Thornton were the Administrators, For a while we kept getting updates of the progress and costs, They were the highest paid, I wasn't there long enough(complete 2 years employment)so no redundancy, Even lost my 4 weeks holiday pay.

So has Mel had to decide which to keep funding, the Club or the stadium? What would happen if he'd stopped paying the stadium/Moor Farm debts but kept paying the Clubs wages/out-goings?
Walking very carefully through this minefield of who owns what and what iffs, If MM fails to pay loans against PP and MF then MSD who have loans against said venues, Then surely MSD steps in and takes over as the charge has been enacted.
But of course I could be miles and miles off

The company that owns PP isn't going into administration, has debts secured against it though. It's financially very messy. And i could be getting stuff wrong on this.
To be fare, I didn't listen to the interview, But have read all postings, Amazing how others hear the same thing differently.

Why do you and Paul Merson think this? Seems to make no sense. The entire value of the club is surely dependent on it being an EFl member and a going concern. So is the value of the stadium.
Anything with Liquid in it Merson really doesn't understand.

On the radio Derby interview it seems Mel owns PP and said he will "work with the administrators" on that.
Well, he would have to as his tennat in PP is in administration and he's unlikely to get a different tennant..........
I gather as we're not in Administration yet MM does still own PP, Once in Admin then he will have "work with the administrators" If MSD have a charge against PP then both MM and MSD will be working with the Administrator
All very confusing for an Old Un ?

He said there were lots interested but i get impression he said they seemed to just be waiting for lower price (rather than efl to be sorted). Said one who came back this week was someone who had expressed interest and gone.
I'm told it was the Spanish Waiter, The reason he's gone, He was offered a double shift at El Torros Diner in Lloret De Mar

He says he's lost £200 million. I think he said that, just over the weekend, fifteen potential buyers expressed an interest.
He bet on Stoke to win?

Yeah, been warming to Rooney recently. He might be forced to leave now, who knows? I would like to think he will stay and fight even if it meant working for peanuts, but would understand if he didn’t. On the other hand he could become a Derby Legend if he did stay and fight. Even bringing us back up from league 1 would cement a legendary status here.
He must be the biggest wage earner at the club, So I would think that Admin will be looking at WR to cut costs, But, If WR is still here after a couple of weeks then i'd hope there's a deal close by for a new owner?
-
For someone to plough millions into the club, I had some sympathy for MM, But failing to tell his Manager that the club is going tits up is a dereliction of his duty...a cowards way out.
That sympathy I had has now gone, Shame on you MM.

Buses in Stenson are crap, So walked into town, 75mins later i'm in the Telegraph, 10 mins later my old mates come in and all smiles, It's been a long time since we have seen each other, Then all of a sudden there's banging on the windows, Yep it's the Naughty 40, Or should I say under 5s, Scruffy mothers they were, With them banging on the windows we all hid under the tables "frit we were" they showed up at the Nep, Old Bill were forwarned I believe but not sure if owt kicked off.
Beers were going down well, Stories to tell each other, They bailed for the match I stayed with an old buddy, 1-0, 2-0 get in, 2-1 oh no is this where we throw it away, Nope, Win 2-1, I start to mooch off as i'd drunk to much, Walked again, Stopped at the Half Moon in Littleover, Had another beer had a chat with the locals, Then walked home, Called in the Oaklands for a p**s, then home...i'm now knackered, But gonna sleep well.
Well done all for your support, Brings a lump to your throat...

Alf, I know what you mean, but didn't Mel separate the ground and the training facilities off ?
Who knows what an administrator will do with those, they may sell them to separate owners
I beleive they have gone into Admin also(other posters may know)MSD have loans against them, So in theory MSD become the owners.

I know little to nowt about our finances, But, We have a suberb stadium, Training facilities that would put alot of the Premier teams to shame, Future possible crowds of 33,000, A football town, There's people out there with vast amounts of cash that would take a chance, Tomorrow is another day, And hope springs eternal...have faith.

Go and support DCFC, There's people who are going to lose their jobs, Think of these people.

I believe the onus is on MSD now, to apply the charge that they have registered.
As a wild guess MM and MSD have been in talks for a while, MM didn't wake up this Morning and decided to chuck all his toys out of the pram...I believe in fairy tales and there is a pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow...no not Bungle, Zippy or George

Tongue in cheek remark mate.
When you've lived with the slow decline from 76 just as the gumps were on the up, through to the 3rd division relegation, Maxwell etc its hard to see it as the worst but it may well turn out to be yet. Strangely though, some of the best memories are of those years followed by the promotions.
You won't get a ticket to away games next season for love nor money!
The Home end it is then

By the bucket load, They'll always be a DCFC whichever division it maybe in, I'll be going to a few games at home now, Duty calls and all that, Support the team for 100mins, Then go about your day, Few beers with your mates, An early tea with the Children, A cuddle with your partner...life still goes on

Apologies this might sound stupid, but can someone explain what exactly is going to happen IF we go into administration? I know it is bad, but specifically, what could happen?
Administration -12 points, P&S Possible -9 points, Administrator takes over the company sells what he can pays the wages takes their fee, Gate receipts used for the running of the business, Possible buyers waiting in the wings? to take over

I am careful - and Rooney's quotes are BBC pages which are (mostly) carefully verified!
Was Wayne musing an opinion or leaking knowledge? I guess we might hear more about this BBC article on Radio Derby's SportScene in a few minutes...
Ahhh the BBC ?

Now I'm angry at Rooney too!
He's quoted by the BBC as saying Derby could cope with a 9-point deduction.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58592104
Somebody muzzle him, he's making it sound official too!!
Becarefull what you read on the internet, Pep Gaurdiola was quoted as saying he would like more supporters at the Etihad Stadium, Man City supporters group then got involved, Telling Pep money is tight and supporters have to pick and choose their games.
Now Pep came out fighting saying he was mis-quoted, But if they want him out then he'll go.
If WRs quote is true...then the media or MM have convinced/told him about our punishment and 9 points it is.
Edit...PS
Just realised I fell for the story on the internet about a story on the internet...doh!

But given how long this has gone on- do you think we’ll ever know the truth? I understand the need for confidentiality right now, but what do we think the chances are of ever getting the actual, truthful details of the conversations behind closed doors??
In my imagination, I’m hoping for a “spill the beans” interview from Mel Morris, in X months/years after he’s sold the club. Or maybe some kind of leak from the EFL when it’s done and dusted. Again, that’s more hope than expectation!
Prince Philips Will...will not be published for 90 years, I expect a hugely redacted file on the findings/truth to be released around the same time?
