BOB BIGGS reacted to sage in Alan Nixon Breaks Silence on American Billionaire Bid
Is it too late to change my wrist slasher of the year nomination?

BOB BIGGS reacted to Ewe Ram in Petition to strip Melvyn of his CBE
Disgusting. We’re all smarting from what’s happened but being vindictive is just pathetic. As has been mentioned, he donated to charities to the tune of millions and to local hospitals.
Surely, as a fan base, we’re better than this?

Have some people got nothing better to do with their lives?
This guy has probably donated more to good causes than I will earn in my lifetime.

Count me out. This is just pure revenge and we ought to be better than that, apart from the fact that it would do nothing to benefit Derby County.
It’s not going to happen anyway.

To be honest with the way we conducted our business in general during the period of time he was here I think I'd rather a clean break and going in a different direction regardless of how much direct responsibility he had in that.

You don't think a £700k payment to someone 'with a view to them taking up a football related role' that never existed and a £1m payment for becoming a club ambassador as sweetener for Craig Bryson signing a new contract were questionable deals? Really?
SR winning a case against his dismissal doesn't mean these things didn't happen.
It doesn't really matter who ultimately signed them off, and just because they weren't legally a breach of FD doesn't mean they're the sort of deals you want your club entering into.

Yes, I believe it was.
I think his first start for the Rams was at RB in the crucial last game against Liverpool at the BBG, where he was superb. I can still see in my mind him completely taking Emlyn Hughes out of the game by flicking the ball back over his own head and bringing it down as Emlyn went in the opposite direction ?

BOB BIGGS reacted to G STAR RAM in Sam Rush
My guess is that the 'unfair dismissal' was more likely to be about not following due process, rather than there being no wrongdoing.
I would be absolutely astounded if all of the claims made about Rush by MM were completely made up.

A large number of Newcastle fans live in Northumberland - and don’t I know it ..?

Without him, we would’ve been relegated last season and that would’ve been £10m plus lost in revenue. He’s more than paid his fee back, despite his minimal game time IMO.

I remember going to that one. My first visit to the North East, on the “ Ramaway”. Assured of a warm Geordie welcome, some Derby fans were hit by flying objects towards the end of the game, which we won fairly comfortably.
We were stood in and among a few Home fans. A bloke next to us kept shouting something like “ It’s a bad bal an al”. We got it eventually….poor pass!
Strange after such an introduction that I’ve been in the region for the last 38 years. I didn’t see that coming at the time?
