I see Cazoo's sponsorship of "The Hundred" (memo to self -wash hands) has expired. I wonder who'll have the foolhardiness to take that on.
Going forward, English Cricket might find itself in a Financial crisis.

We've gained 8 points on Ipswich in the last 10 games, so I suppose anything's possible, but I can't see us catching the top 2.

Maybe MM was impossible to argue/reason with, like Robert Maxwell.

How bad is it down there? We haven't got any snow at all in Ripley.
Very late reply but I had to go to Loughborough on Monday evening. Very strange. Heading North, no snow at the high points at Markfield or Copt Oak, but dropping down to a couple of miles from Loughborough there was about an inch or so,and frozen hard on the pavements, right down to the town centre. Not surprised it was called off really.

On the flip side, you should read FoxesTalk and the vitriol they’re directing at Brendan Rogers. A man who won them the FA Cup?
They’ve got far too big for their boots very quickly. As much as I have banter with you lot on here, they’ve got the worst fans out of any of the east mids clubs, by a distance.100%, especially the highlighted bit. Their sense of entitlement is unbelievable. Although I was amused by one of the forum posters calling Mr Cooper a goblin.

He's very tall. Wikipedia have him as 8"9
I wonder if he's related to the two Springett brothers, both goalkeepers around the 1970's

The Cheltenham College ladies claim to have invented the word CHAV, as a disparaging term for the common yoof of Cheltenham, a CHeltenham AVerage.

I kind of hoped that because he had “been there and done that” with the international game. He’d want to stay and finish the job. Great news that seems to be the case.
I seem to recall that he came to Derbyshire because he wanted a 'project'. On that basis he probably sees it as a work in progress and wants to see it through.
As you say he's "been there and done that", more than once.

Warne has come out numerous times and said that he’s not interested in Fisher, categorically.
It would certainly be a surprise.

Woke up grinning this morning thinking about the game yesterday. For 60 minutes it was as complete a performance as one could wish for. Quick nod to Wildsmith again. We do seem to start games rather slowly (Warne's face on the touchline for the first 15 told a story!) and I've lost count of the times recently where his unshakeable concentration has given us a platform on which to build these impressive performances. POTY will be a fiercely competitive affair this year, that's for sure. Arguments to be made for Didzy, NML, Cash and Joe as things stand with a late surge from Jason Knight looking likely too. An oddly wonderful time to be a Ram's fan.
Had a glance on a Barnsley Forum. They thought we were a poor side, but they were worse. One or two realists though, to be fair.

I see that jammy Leicester have drawn yet another 4th division club.
