Mr Bates vs Post Office powerful stuff, shocking subject
It defies belief. There are post office employees who should go to prison fpor some of this stuff.
And how can a judge sack himself?

Seems every ref at the moment seems to want to book every and any Rams player and ignore the opposition…
In normal circumstances that would have been a second yellow for the peno but think ref bottles it as didn’t want to send the player off and effectively kill the game… poor decision.
New EFL ruling.

Sad to hear about the dimwit with the laser pen , amongst such brilliant support in the away end last night , we dunna need it ! Can see some green dots on the "limbs" video on page 41 of this thread , great win ,great night , bring on the Posh , COYRs
I picked that up, too, from the Oxford forum. This sort of thing should be stamped out ASAP. It could have serious implications with you know who.
Points deduction incoming? It doesn't take much to rouse them from their slumbers

In the second picture, are the trousers being pulled up, or down? either way probably not suitable behaviour out in the street....
Possibly the norm in Nottingham

There was a story at the start of the season about possibly relaxing the post Brexit rules on work permits. Under the old rules we would have zero chance of signing anyone from abroad.
Anyone have the details of what the new rules are?

Well we've exhausted the "Warne out", "Keogh's to blame" and the "return of Chris Martin" threads so we do need a new long running theme.

May I suggest getting a flag with the word Flange on it. No context necessary, we will all know what it means and who it's for.
I thought it started off as Flang.

I spent yesterday afternoon & evening rehearsing and playing in a very stirring performance of Mozart's Requiem.
This morning, I'm thinking 'How appropriate'.
A sad loss, and so young.

COuld be exciting. I'm sure he was the guy who hit the winning run(s) when we won the 2nd division championship. Didn't he also fall foul of the DCCC authorities by buggering off to Australia in the close season?

Just got in. Has he gone yet?

All about the results, how football should be
I thought it was called the beautiful game, or am I getting confused with Women's Beach Volleyball?

I see that Jacob Butterfield, late of this parish, scored the winning goal for Scunthorpe today.

According to a report from Buxton's manager:
“The referee blew his whistle, said he'd blown up for full-time to me and ran down the tunnel and shut his door on me. He didn't want a conversation with either manager and no one knew what was going off.
“There was no opportunity to say let's go back out 15 minutes later and see if it's stopped raining. It is a complete farce to be honest.
“It would have been one of the biggest results in the club's history – it is such a shame.

Well, that's a very sporting declaration. How gracious of them.

This blokes a fictional stable boy from a Catherine Cookson novel surely.
Are you actually admitting to reading Catherine Cookson novels?

We arrived at the ground Main Stand in 22 degrees, full sunshine and NO refreshments open. Were told they would open at 2.55, an hour later.
I played merry hell with the stewards (who, to be fair were just following instructions). There was a young lad at the front of the stand feeling faint, but no drinking water available.
Anyway, I demanded they sorted it out immediately, told them it was illegal and I was reporting it to the papers.
After about 20 minutes of harassing them they finally opened up.
A ridiculous state of affairs and the sooner football starts treating away fans as paying customers, we might start behaving like them!

'Posh' seems a rather unfortunate soubriquet from the sound of things.

He did indeed - his old house is about 500 yards from mine. Had a flag pole in the front garden. Very Posh!! 😉
Was that the Longshoot? The gardens used to flood badly along there sometimes.
