RamontheMoor reacted to Rampant in So who would we have then?
I'd be gutted if we went anywhere near either of them tbh.

RamontheMoor reacted to Yoxoram in Angry fans/hourihane 😬
It took courage to approach the fans like that. He has my respect.

RamontheMoor reacted to Carnero in Dear Richie Barker
The question was literally framed as "It's important not to get carried away with outside noise isn't it?" so Barker had every right to answer the question using the very same phrase.
Some people will just choose to take offence to anything if it fits with their preconceived narrative.

Collins with awful decision, barks was in but shoots wide instead of passing. Need this second

That sums Collins up. Absolute dog poo

RamontheMoor reacted to Carnero in Pro Warne
I was Warne in right until this last few games. We're just not seeing any improvement against teams who are happy to keep the game tight and make it a physical encounter. Until we can roll these teams over we're going nowhere.
44 points from the last 31 games in Division 3 (since 1 Feb) is unacceptable for this club.
☹

Nyambe is pure class. Straight into the game, plays out from the back with poise and starts the move that ends up in the net.

RamontheMoor reacted to S8TY in Post match poll Carlisle away
A poll after each game now ? ridiculous!

RamontheMoor reacted to Day in Ed Dawes
Whilst we bash away, mostly anonymously behind the keyboard, just go take a second to see what Josh Vickers is going through right now, Ed, just like us all is a real person.
Regardless of how you feel about him as a person or his commentary style there is absolutely no need for personal stuff towards a fellow Derby fan.
Seriously, come on, have a word with yourselves.

RamontheMoor reacted to Ian Buxton's Bat in Ed Dawes
Graham Richards had a vocabulary to die for and a great turn of phrase.
Ed Dawes and RD do an excellent job for local radio and don’t deserve the vile abuse they get.
Turn the radio off if you have a problem.

RamontheMoor reacted to Loughborough Ram in Ed Dawes
Is there nothing Rams fans won't moan about.
A win today so we have 3 pages moaning about a commentator that wasn't actually commentating.
Coming up with new and inventive things to criticise should be considered our specialist subject.

RamontheMoor reacted to Curtains in Ed Dawes
Rather have Ed than Dave Fletcher .
Ed is a Derby fan
Nothing wrong with Ed Dawes

RamontheMoor reacted to kash_a_ram_a_ding_dong in Ed Dawes
It's quite an unpleasant forum on here sometimes isn't it.
The blokes doing his job,has some time off for unknown reasons and gets personally slagged off by fellow derby supporters whilst he does so.

RamontheMoor reacted to Anag Ram in How would you feel if Mac returned again?
I’d be worried about how much we were paying him to lure him from Man U.

RamontheMoor reacted to Stive Pesley in Fan Forum (not this one)
That's the million dollar question. No one is really sure. All we know is that he's been here for 10 years. He was CFO when Sam Rush was sacked for alleged financial irregularities. As CFO either he was negligent in policing what was going on, or he was complicit in what was going on. Yet he stayed in post. He was CFO/CEO throughout the MM FFP-busting glory years and eventual admin. Again he was either negligent or complicit. Yet he is still here
At the forum he was asked outright whether he thinks he could have personally done anything differently to avoid what happened with FFP/Admin and he changed the subject.
So we don't know that he did anything wrong, it's just a general feeling of something not adding up - and the fact that when questioned at a public forum he refused to address it doesn't help allay anyone's fears
It's not a witch hunt, or a vendetta - just fans who want what's best for the club. Administration was such an emotionally draining time, we all want to move forward with a clean slate. And we have that in terms of an owner, a squad and a manager. But the CEO - nope - same guy who let it all go to s**t last time. Only fair that we question that

RamontheMoor reacted to TomTom92 in Who enjoys Warne's football poll?
Very good point and i can only speak for myself, but i don't care about any of the nice things as long as we win on a saturday.
I know the two aren't exclusive, but ultimately i'd have the devil himself as manager if he got us 3 points on a saturday.
I like PW as a person and i'm desperate for it to work, but other peoples fears about him being tactically poor etc. seem to be correct. I think maybe Derby is too big for him. I remember him making a passing comment about fans spotting Waggy in a pre season photo and he compared us to MI5. Richie Barker also told a story where he was surprised to see a young boy wearing a Derby shirt in the Yorkshire area, before he realised that Derby are followed throughout the country.
We're not going to be patient especially in League 1, where there's an unjust feeling that we should be there in the first place. PW seems to be Nigel mk2 except Nige's recruitment was better and he had the luxury of being in the championship to keep us satisfied.
