I truly believe both Lampard and Rooney were great appointments , for commercial reasons (and why not both are in the top echelons of UK football ) but mostly for their character,  drive and ability. Wtf is wrong recruiting on that basis . I've seen many charlatan managers down the 50 years of support and rather these guys than many of the previous incumbents or any that are currently available .

The mighty Rams take on Sheffield United at Bramell Lane on Saturday 25th. 3pm kick off.  
After everything that’s gone on we still managed to outplay a highly respected Stoke side.  The players were fantastic and the support was amazing.  If we as fans can take that to Sheffield and the players show the same class, we shouldn’t be afraid of anyone in this league. Off the pitch is for another thread.
So let’s outplay and outsing the blades on Saturday. As the ultimate measure of a team is not where we stand in moments of comfort, but where we stand in times of challenge.

Actually disagree there, Buxton was a pretty good distributor of the ball. 

Very happy with the signing. Has been training with the squad most of pre-season and has looked a very useful player. 
Easy to judge the player for his past.... Equally easy for the player to judge our club for the present. Clean slate and new season for both sides now.
