My cat Bert would see Igor off, I reckon.

He's about the same size, cat funt.

Apart from Buchanan who got called up for England u21s and Knight who had been our best player until Bielik returned. Bird was having to do the work of 2 players next to Rooney.
He looked good against Blackburn last season.

You keep saying Mel wouldn’t take advice, but I don’t see where you’re coming from with any of this.
You’ve built this character up in your head, and using that to say what he has and hasn’t done without anything to back it up.
Do you know that his lawyers didn’t think he had a case, do you know the statement came from him and not the CEO Pearce?
Was Keogh ever open to settling? I mean he was offered a pay cut whilst injured and declined.
Also Lawrence and Bennett were still fit to play, they didn’t rule themselves out for the best part of a year and could fulfil their contracts, had they not done they may have followed suit.
So many assumptions which I think are unfair, I get the man at the top is ultimately responsible, but as I said earlier, feels like a pile on.
I think it’s really simple in that Keogh’s actions made him unable to fulfil his contract. His fault. Driving or not, his fault. He’s no victim.

I think you’re way off personally. That’s the figure the media have portrayed.
I believe he has standards that he expects and not someone you want to cross, knows what he wants, has his vision but never got the impression he’s closed minded to others opinions.
Would you want a weak minded owner with no vision that is easily swayed by any other voice?
There’s a topic somewhere in the Football forum, Frank Lampard still full of praise for Mel, his character and human side.
Scorned managers will probably tell a different tale but that’s natural when you’ve been given the sack.
I’ve met him several times and spoke with him even more, take my opinion as you want it I guess.
Tend to avoid these type of conversations now as it’s just a pile on which I find a tad unfair despite the situation we find ourselves in.

Fans were on Whittaker's back from his first home game because they saw a skinny, lanky kid and thought that he would be someone to run and chase down, and because he wasn't and they thought he was being lazy he was given a hard time.
You say he was given chance after chance, he started 2 league games and had 23 sub appearances, hardly given a chance at all.

He is a footballer, he is paid to score goals, he should be able to celebrate when he does (and is sticking his fingers in his ears really that much of a celebration?), regardless of the opposition, no one "deserves a bag full of abuse". I mean seriously, we weren't even involved in the match yesterday so what difference does it make to us? And Morgan was an unused substitute?
It is just pathetic and people need to grow up.

Waghorn's penalty and Cardiff's equaliser happened less than 1 minute apart, Waghorn's was in 78th minute and Cardiff's was in the 88th minute. We knew from 85th minute of our game we only needed to draw to stay up, which we were doing, and saw the game out knowing we were doing enough. If Cardiff hadn't had scored we would have been pushing for a winner and who knows if we would have scored that? There was no point in going for a win in the last few minutes.

    Yes.
He got stick from Derby fans whilst at the club on Twitter. (Fans gave it)
He replied by scoring and celebrating
He was then racially abused online (Fans couldn’t take it), along with non racial abuse.

Swansea lose a game yesterday, a game he played no part in and came in for more stick from Derby fans to the point where he’s closed his account.
His goal and celebration should have been the end of it. But now this will rumble on and it’s very weird in all honesty.

Show a player respect when he's with us and they'll show respect back.
Unfortunately there are a noisy minority (both on social media and at matches) who want to pick a fight.
Tom Ince at Stoke - looked petrified when he came onto the pitch first match against us but the majority clapping him soon drowned out the few haters and he clapped us back.
Can't understand people who abuse our own players myself, especially those who've come through the ranks with us.

Weren’t we two points off safety with 35 games to go? Talk of Wazza keeping us up as some kind of Big Sam miraculous escape is laughable. We were the poorest team in the whole of English football for the last third of the season. If we weren’t in the financial pickle we are he would be gone, let’s not kid ourselves....

Franny Lee scoring for us V Man City was great.
Fine to give a bit of abuse at the time but once the game is over forget it
