  1. As difficult as it is to predict who will go on to a successful career, you'd hope that the Academy staff would have a pretty good idea.

That's why we pay them the big bucks.

    Oh wait...

You're not on your own, I recall running for my life from the BBG from a bunch of Newcastle fans , think Keegan was their manager at the time, and they finished the game with 8 men !.... I needed a clean pair of underpants that day when I got home !

Yeah, I was at that game. 3 players sent off for Newcastle and I think we only won one-nil.

The time that sticks most in my mind was a game against Chelsea when all routes back to the bus station were closed off.

Ran a lot of miles that day. Still, I suppose it helped keep you fit.

By saying it’s done more you recognise that we tried it at times in the past. Perhaps that’s the real desire of Warne but we weren’t able to due player confidence, ability and fitness to keep playing that way for 90 minutes.

Or maybe Warne simply realised he had to adapt tactics to the players available.

Either way, I'm glad of the transition.

Oh come on mate.  You're better than that!

After what we went through, I wouldn't wish this on my own worszzzzzz...

Our problems were far greater than merely breaking FFP and getting a points deduction. I agree, I wouldn't want fans of any club (perhaps even Leeds) to go through the threat of being wound up.

But mere points deductions for breaking the rules, that's fair enough, I can live with that happening.

Though to be honest, I think the whole financing of football needs restructuring, new regulations and new policing.

I honestly don’t know. It seems our defence is that we made more money for Johnson by selling in August, rather than the peanuts Brentford offered us in June. So it made financial sense to sell then.

I would imagine that if we are found guilty, it won’t be on the same lines as the punishment fished out to a Everton, but we’ll see! Obviously we’ve been treading a fine line so this is pretty unsurprising.

    It's such a worry.
