They're appalling, sorry, I mean appealing... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68661196

So, I have calmed down after the Northampton defeat. The dust has settled. I can now look calmly over the season as a whole, where we were and how far we have come and so forth, and come to a rational and considered opinion based on all that I know. I still want Warne gone. Yes, nice bloke, bobble hats, next to no budget, this, that and the other. But whatever the outcome from this season: promotion, play-offs, missing out, whatever league we play in next season.....

Dedication and support - the painful way
IslandExile replied to IslandExile's topic in Derby County Forum
Bad enough but the British Rail guy on the ticket barrier insisted on seeing everyone's ticket while they were being booted and thumped. -
Well, over the years, I have suffered a lot of emotional pain but nothing physical, well apart from being kicked at New Street station, Birmingham away a few years ago, and I've had three car breakdowns going to/from games, but look what this lot go through to show their support: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-68615418

Just win ok. Ok. Good.

Brilliant. Had me laughing all afternoon 😂

Three shocking decisions by the referee; the two yellows making the red and Dwight's handball for the penalty. Derby's football was good in the first half, less so in the second. We'll take it 🐏 Onwards and upwards!

Done. Good luck.

I only caught a glimpse, in the second half, but weren't they doing the ole cheers for a passing move?

Cried my eyes out 😭 As I did the day he left the club and the day he didn't come back 😭 -
We've been over this so many times. But you clearly cannot grasp it and feel you have to surface whenever the first team win a game. Ok, here it is again, please try to understand it this time.... We do not "hate" Warne. We just believe he should do better with the squad he has, the resources that he has available and make better use of the academy. We do not agree with many of his team selections, his tactics or his substitutions. Yes, we beat a very poor, low lying Port Vale, rah, rah, rah but can you look further than that - at the longer term future of the club?

9th minute of injury time. Marinakis was on the pitch at the end. Was he one of those getting a red card? Chaos. You have to feel for them, poor dears.

Is it 3 at the back with Subs LWB?

I was just about to say "or maybe it belongs on one of the Warne Out threads".

@Ram-Alf has already answered but - yes, Sibley. He has performed well in that position. But the other points are: 1. We get the best centre back pairing of Nelson and Cashin. 2. We play 4 at the back. 3. We have more attacking options from the wings
-
And had Warne done his job properly and stuck with the centre back pairing of Nelson and Cashin in a back 4 that brought all the 'success', then Bradley wouldn't have been in the team....
