  1. Look back at the negative reactions to the Rhodes link - "finished", "won't score", "wouldn't play".

I thought this was going to be another "what if Lampard had played Marriott at Wembley thread" given where Villa are in the PL.

Can't help my little downer, given the obvious absentee from those scenes, as this was what he lived for.
... But hey... we know he's up there.  We know he's still watching.  We know he's still bouncing.

He'll not be resting in any sort of peace just yet a while... He'll be friggin' buzzin'.  His spirt lives on.

Yeah, I was myself thinking there is one person who would revel in this run we're on, and that game in particular, bad feet or not he'd be bouncing higher than anyone 🐏

I know some fans still don't rate Warne but I'm sure he can count to 11.....

Reminds me of the story when Stuart Pearce was first made caretaker manager of that lot down the road.

He couldn't sleep trying to select the team for his first game, squeezing the squad of players into just the eleven positions.

Finally, he called out "I've done it".

His exhausted wife said "Ok, let's see it". Pearce handed her the team sheet.

    "Where's Crossley???"

For those who are giving Daniel a final clap/wave tomorrow. The cortège will be setting off from my parents at 10:15am. It’s usually a 5-10 minute drive to Pride Park. Expecting to pull in by the main entrance for 9:25am 💗

It will be a difficult day. Our thoughts are with you all.

I think you know, though, just how loved B4 was on here and with his fellow supporters in the stands. I hope that is some comfort to you and the family.

Daniel was a great comfort to me and many others during the recent COVID lockdowns and the near demise of Derby County.

Without ever actually meeting him, I am glad I got to "know" him.

    Best wishes to you all.

Man of the match in Aberdeen’s last Europa conf league game

    And again today. BBC's citation:

While he didn't have to make any world-class saves, Roos ensured the Aberdeen goal remained unbreached. Confident and composed, he fielded everything that came his way

    That's our Kelle, alright.
