Feel free to respond... the last word is all yours... I'm bored now!
I'm surprised and disappointed by your reaction. You've always seemed to be one of the more reasonable posters.
Of course, football and style of football in a game not involving Derby County is still relevant to our club. There are other threads of this forum about points deductions. Do you not consider them to be linked with our experience either?
I also related the Notts County fan giving the team talk to wishing our beloved positive supporter could have done that. Was that out of order too?

Paralyzed Notts County fan giving the team talk. Very positive guy.
If only we'd got our #1 positive fan to give the team talk, we'd be promoted by now.

Could you not descend the 39 Steps, walk alongside the pitch toward Alvaston then turn left toward Chaddesden and ascend stair 42 at half time?
Or crowd surf?

I had been thinking I should post ahead of the Bristol match. Does anyone know if you can get a large B printed in the the number section of a DCFC shirt? I was thinking of getting Daniel B4 printed on a shirt this week. My parents gave me one of Dan’s shirts and I’ve have worn it for a couple of matches but I wanted to make sure it doesn’t get too worn or damaged.
Do you mean 'Daniel' at the top as the name and 'B4' as the large number?
If you cannot find anywhere, maybe you could get the club shop to print '84' as the number.
Depending on what the '8' looks like, you could use a marker pen to convert it into a 'B'.

I'm feeling really down and I need someone to cheer me up. I think we all do.
Where's B4 when you need him?
Gah, I miss him.

Ok apologies. I assumed Radio Derby knew their facts. When has it happened before?

No, no, no, please God no 😭
I am truly heartbroken by this terrible news.
B4's positivity helped me through some difficult times.
He helped us all when the club faced its own difficulties. Never once did he lose faith in the Rams.
I've been missing his posts recently and now there will be no more. This is a very sad day.
RIP B4, Ram legend and a great lad 🐏

3-0
Heck, Barnsley must be the worst team ever to play at Pride Park 😉
Oh wait, I'm in the "Warne out" camp 😁

We're not great at dominating play with a passing game that doesn't allow the opposition a kick of the ball except from kickoffs following the 5+ goals we score in the game.

If we keep this topic going, we're only a page or two away from accusing Paul Warne of the JFK assassination, creating Covid and responsible for the price increase of Freddo bars.
Freddo bars have gone up in price???!!!
Oh that's the final straw. Warne out and now!

All the candidate teams are showing more fight than our lot did so I think the record is ours to keep. Sadly.

Can you believe it - a penalty on 100 mins. Shef Utd win 2-1 and are now on 4 points . We never got 100 mins a game to try and score 😡
And Sky experts say it was an awful decision for VAR not to overrule it because the guy clearly kicked the ground.

I had a terrible case of the Brad Pitts after eating a dog burger outside Loftus Road.
The runs came on that evening when I went to a party thrown by a girl who owned a groovy flat in East London. When I rushed to the loo, I found out that one of the groovy things about the flat was that the bathroom didn't have a door, just a bead curtain. And there was a queue of girls outside the bead curtain.
So I ran downstairs and outside to find somewhere, anywhere. The car park in front of the block of flats was small and well lit. The only thing in it was a speedboat on a trailer.
And so I found my relief squatting in the small patch of darkness behind a speedboat, beside the Whitechapel Road.
It was a memorable evening.
Did it have an outboard motor?

1976 Quarter Final 4-2 versus Newcastle United
Four of the best goals you will ever see.
But yeah, I also loved the 2-0 versus them from down the road.

How long is left on Bird's contract?
I am sure he will leave in the Summer if not in January 😢, so I wonder what fee we might get?
And whether that and the Cashin fee will be re-invested or go towards running costs?
-
He played well and took his goal well - certainly in a more composed manner than NML who, in a similar position, just blazed it high and wide.
However the assist for Washington's goal has to go to the Northampton defenders who parted like the waves.
As enjoyable as last night was, I am still struggling to get over just how poor the Cobblers lot were..... Very poor.
-
Great watch.
Wonderful to see passing on the deck through midfield, creating and taking chances (well until they fell to Collins) but....boy oh boy....
Northampton have to be one of the worst sides I've ever seen. Did any of their players break sweat?
"You can only beat what's in front of you" but the Northampton players weren't even in front of us, they stood aside, take Washington's goal as the prime example.
Anyhow, COYR 🐏 more of the same please.
