Does any know if we could do a loan fee if it was fully funded via a sale (eg. Joswicack for example).

Fulham 1 - Rams 2 (Why not)

I think we will be getting EFL help for once on this one as we will be reminding them of the scale of the Pandora’s box it will open.
Hopefully EFL will put pressure on them to withdraw their “claim”

A lot depends on the next few weeks. If we have a good run (unlikely with Bournemouth and Fulham) such that the miracle could still be on, then I think we will be holding fast on the squad with Bielik being the new signing.
If we’re all but maths gone, then I think I would keep the old heads of Jags Davis until end of season to keep us from being hammered every week but look to shift on the Jozwikak, Lawrence, Byrne, Marshall and promote from within in these positions.
If the right loan option (must be with a view to next season) was available at “Mates Rates” I would not say no but not if blocking our own with no prospect of next year.

Just saying. If on the sliding doors theme, Frank Lampard has selected a more adventurous team at Wembley we might have still been singing “He’s One of Our Own”.
MM gambled and we all lost.
If the double 6 had landed he would have been lauded but it didn’t.
He is no doubt as devastated as us and maybe he should have sold every last asset to keep us afloat, but I suspect most on here would not have done in similar situation.
Bottom line he screwed up massively but probably with good intentions at the time.

If we win most of the games until Jan then yes. But we won’t

Think this is all a bit playground foot stamping. I won’t be supporting.
He was a bad (inept) owner, but not a bad person to invalidate past good deeds.

That's all assuming we'll be in L1, of course.
... They may double up on the drafted fixtures lists, and have us on standby for L2 as well! ?
Or if Liquidated and relaunched Phoenix club then look out for East Midlands Senior league fixture vs Sudbury Open prison.

Rams 1 - Old People’s Home 2

Let’s just get on with it (life, league 1, etc).
Was annoyed yesterday but expected it. Put the rake in the garage as coals are smooth as they’ll get.

Any one know if the EFL? rules would allow us to sign pre-contract agreements with players available next summer?
As best I can understand the strict budget controls end at the end of this season so if an “agreement to sign” did not increase the cost before then it would be ok?
If so I think this would give something to go for in January assuming take over etc…

As long as the Flower Pot is still open and serving good ale, I can’t see how my match day experience can be much different with L1 football.

I think a rigid formation is a bit old fashioned. It needs to be more adaptive.
Start off 5 2 1 2 with pretence the 5 includes attacking full back.
Revert to 5 4 1 as we are struggling to cope with their midfield.
After we concede a 3rd let’s go for it 2 2 6.

Who's blaming the fans? Saw one silly thread a while back, but otherwise this topic seems like much ado about nothing.

And if you're not deemed big enough? That's it, you're out forever?
Same as currently is what my post says. Don’t think they should cherry pick the L1 clubs like Sunderland and Us?. We would have to earn it on the pitch.

Probably a PL2 is the best answer with 18 PL1 and 20 PL2 making PL2 packed with more “big” clubs and thus more marketable.
Relegation to EFL as usual but financial gulf between between PL2 and Champ reduced with no parachute payments but financial support for all EFL clubs from the now more profitable PL.

1) We beat Bristol City 6-0.
2) We beat Middlesbrough 6-0.
3) We beat Forest 6-0.
Next season will look after its self.

Makes you wonder how other clubs will be coping also.
