I think Warne will take the O out of County. We are going to be a nightmare to play against.

Paul Warne at his first presser:
"I want to press, I want to get the ball back high, I want to stop counter-attacks, keep attacks going and for that you have to press, you have to be athletic but fundamentally you have to be really good on the ball and I think the lads have been really conducive to what we’re trying to do."
Athletic and a high press, being good on the ball and keeping attacks going are exactly how I want us to play. Let's hope we'll start seeing this on Saturday. We saw this sometimes under Lampard. I remember the Marriott goal at Old Trafford was the inevitable result of incessant pressure - we were unstoppable. They couldn't live with the waves of attacks.
I don't want to see us with the ball around the opposition box only to try to funnel it back to Wildsmith to start again. I don't want to see freekicks in the opposition half get funnelled back to Wildsmith to start again. Ditto throw-ins. If we're to be promoted we have to start looking in the right direction.

It's not going to happen, The FA are as culpable as Southgate, Quaffing their faces with food and drink, Jollys around the globe, Free entry to all internationals, An expense account Kwarsi Kwerteng would endorse.
Southgate is an FA man, Nice, Too bloody nice, Doesn't upset a cart load of apples, Hugs and shakes his players hands after the game, Applauds a booing crowd, Then says we're moving forward, Just what the FA like ?

    Yes:
"It’s difficult for me to be too critical of the performance,” he said. “We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target. For large parts we played very well. We didn’t deal with the decisive moment defensively and we had moments to be more decisive in their final third and our quality wasn’t quite right.
“I thought there were a lot of positives tonight. A lot of good individual performances. I personally thought the performance was a step in the right direction but I perfectly understand that because of the result that’s not going to be the reaction.”

I think there is no chance in hell we should go back to the same relationship we had with Russia Pre Invasion as that would be bowing down to their aggression just for economic reasons, it won't happen either and I hope Europe stands strongly against Russia and cuts them off until a regime change. In the short-term governments will have to import energy from elsewhere and in the long term become more self reliant.
As for interest rates I think the BOE has no other option and is just looking to tackle inflation first and foremost, and protecting the value the pound has and ensuring that savers don't get screwed by inflation that could go higher is seen as the priority over anything else.
When the economy has an external shock like the war there is nothing they can do to make everything right, we are going to have an economy that is going to be tough. The way the system works though will mean that the very richest will profit by buying up all the assets like property's, stocks and cryptocurrency and make a tonne from buying when things hit rock bottom.

Still think in and around Top 2 tbh, just falling short and being about 6 or 7 points off the likes if Ipswich by the end of the season, we have been in 3rd gear and can go into  5th or 6th once we get some momentum and play more pragmatically away from home.
So far this season has been probably about what I expected performance wise but maybe 4-6 points less than expected due to our woeful finishing away from home in August.
Getting the midfield balance will be key and I think we will get that right soon, my only concern with our squad is a lack of a top striker +a fast ball playing CB but we can't have everything in our situation.

The players might care, like they did under Cocu, didn't get us anywhere. We have been in crisis for so long, we need a manager who isn't learning on the job.

People see the writing on the wall.
Rosenior has been here in the coaching set up for years.
His philosophy didn’t work with previous squads, so why will this group be any different?
You’re kidding yourself if you think things will click in 5-10 games and we’ll become this exciting, free scoring side.
We’ve been waiting 2.5 years for it all to click.
It’s not about having faith or having patience or relaxing. We’re all perfectly calm and we can all see this hasn’t worked and even in the league below, it’s a flawed philosophy because to make it work, you need time and money to be able to tweak it to perfection and to make the team more or less infallible.
Rosenior does not have those luxuries. He needs to find a way of getting the best out of the group, which is still a very able and strong group for L1 standards, and getting results, plain and simple.

    Cocu v.2
Boring pretty football, with a squad that’s weaker then previous years but still fairly decent. Get a couple of good chances a match and find a way not to score.

Like Cocu LR is a nice bloke as well so he’ll be given 10 matches longer than he should with a lot of our fans.

Not sure there’s much out their to replace him but we won’t achieve anything with LR in charge.

    Completely out of his depth.
How many games have we played well in this season? Barnsley first half, Charlton first half. Struggling to remember more.
Teams know how to stop us and Rosenior doesn't know how to come up with the answers.
It was clear after Plymouth that out midfield wasn't working. Crying out for Knight there. He's not even put Oduroh on the bench to give himself the option to move Knight during the game.
That's Shrewsbury, Fleetwood and Lincoln which could yield 2 points. Nowhere near good enough.
Says the other week that nobody is guaranteed to start, mentioning players like Hourihane etc. Said he's not afraid to play these young lads, Oduroh and Rooney after they've done well in cup games. Yet the following game they don't make the bench.
Bird is woeful at the moment. Absolutely woeful. Doesn't bring anything to this side at all. But continues to play.

Grow up , you going to say that in 20 years too? It's irrelevant wether the club were staring into the abyss because the players that are getting paid to carry out their line of work are not doing it properly and weren't staring into the abyss as they would of just gone elswhere ,  if a company survived liquidation tomorrow then the following week employees weren't doing their job properly they would probably be sacked as its an important time to get things back on track , football should be no different they should be doing better end of

Just wanted to celebrate this kid who has introduced himself in the  rams around the world section of this forum. Many will know of his super-quick goal clips provided on Twitter, this South Korean lad appeared recently on Rams Review Podcast (where he politely tolerated being called Lee the whole time, which is his surname/family name)
Somewhat bizzarely, he became a passionate Ram since the play-off final against QPR (must be drawn towards injustice and tragedy) and gets up at 3 or 4am to watch matches.
He also writes pieces promoting our club in South Korea.  I'm not on Twitter but I'm sure many have welcomed him already. Hopefully we can reach out and help him visit Pride Park one day. I think he will feature more on ramsreview pod so a relationship is developing there.  Hope the club are aware too and might assist.

Just got home, absolutely fuming after that. 3 points pissed away.
Soon as we subbed off Barkhausen and Mcgoldrick our ability to transition from defence to attack was gone and we badly missed Mcgoldricks hold up play.
Thompson is a good young player but I thought he was really poor today and I think we really lacked physicality and some nouse like a Joel Ledlely type once the going got tough at 2-1 and then 2-2 when they had all the impetus.
Poor subs from Rosenior today and a lack of game management cost us.

Disappointing to lose when 2-0 up.
I lost count of the amount of times we had the ball behind their fullback and failed to hit it across goal for a tap-in.
The midfield was definitely second best. Morgan Whittaker had a field day in terms of picking up the ball in dangerous areas in our half.
Forsyth and Hourihane were rubbish. Roberts and Smith in next week please.

Anyone else think that their kit was too similar to ours in colour ? Wonder if that was the reason for Wildsmith’s aberration of a pass to Marriott ?
Their normal colour is blue why the need to wear a change kit ?

    I hate this question.
Let's be honest, no, and I don't want to be ungrateful here, I'm fully aware of how lucky we are to still have the club.
It's nice to be watching Derby win and at the right end of the table, that's all you really want as a fan.....but this is the 3rd tier of English football.
Without sounding arrogant, we're not a 3rd tier club.
I get the novelty factor of new clubs, grounds, even worse refereeing, however we've lost a genuine competitive rivalry as they continue to assemble a £100m+ squad.
In one season a huge gulf has been created and even if they go down, it will take several years before it will even start to level out.
I hate League 1 and being so far away from the PL.
