    Not misogynistic or sexist much.

I had the pleasure of working with 10 women when the fifty shades of grey book series come out and all I heard about was willies, bums and other things for months. Like I was sat in a vortex in the middle.  Read a chapter at lunch then compare it to various geezers they knew  or had including whether others they knew in the office may be up too much.  Same know with women who are retiring next year going on about what they'd like to do with a bloke 30 years younger than them when they read a story on C Beebies.  I wouldn't get too concerned, everyone's still doing it.

To be fair, he had lumps kicked out of him that game by Bowyer's thugs.

Surprised he was played if he was going.  Assumed Rooney was clueless and the player said nowt to him either.  Might have paid 5 weeks wages for nothing.  Good stuff in the current situation.

  3. A preferred bidder and some contract negotiations ongoing a 3-1 win.  No bidder and a load of players beginning to switch off and thinking about getting a contract somewhere else in a few months 1-3.

Probably 1-3.  Cheers admin team and the incoherent mumblings from the EFL.

    Who's this twit.  3 MILLION QUID ????????????????

Discussing the latest EFL statement on the situation, talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook reiterated his surprise that the Rams had turned down a bid for Lawrence during the January transfer window.

He said: “There’s no excuse for the lack of communication. The vibe, for me, running throughout that statement is that the EFL clearly believe the administrators are trying to buy themselves time to sort out a new owner for Derby.

“It highlights what I mentioned yesterday - they were offered £2million, rising to £3million, from another Championship club for their captain Tom Lawrence in January.

Answered my own question . They offered 250k to my knowledge.  He supports that team with a 70 million pound wage bill ,5 players on loan and with 4 players in the squad signed for over 57 million and all this on attendances averaging around 9000. Yep, everyones forgotten FFP breakers Bournemouth.

    Get ducked

On the radio today, a caller phoned in with a proposal to end the Russia–Ukrainian war. Noting that Putin is a huge Beatles fan he suggested McCartney and Ringo do a free concert at the Kremlin if they agree to pull out. Maybe something similar is being planned to soften the deal with Ashley, meet Angelina and One Direction get back together for a one-off Pride Park concert.

Strangely, I thought similar but rather than this rather abstract suggestion an appeal by them to the Russian population.  An odd one that seems out there but the love of the Beatles in Russia, particularly the older ones with influence, is absolutely obsessive.

Wonder if Ashley has said: “I can’t pay this much for div 1 club so MM needs to pay off MSD”. And MM can’t bring himself to agree to that because we could yet stay up.

in which case it’ll drag on until the relegation outcome is clear

The easiest answer would be to agree a payment increase to Morris if Derby do somehow win 6/7 games and stay up.  Cant see that being an issue surely.

Yes he’s stumped up for Gibson (too late imho) and he’s been giving us the stadium rent free.

the reason is:  the alternative might be liquidation - because if we are destined for league 1 with -15 it’s quite  possible buyers go elsewhere. And unless he’s had some catastrophic loss of wealth I think he’ll pay what it takes to keep us out of liquidation.

Unfortunately for him that might not be lost on the bidders

Sure I saw on one of the EFL misery bulletins that there was back rent to pay on the stadium as part of the sale.  I assume that means the new buyer owes Mel about 600k in rent not paid.

  9. Rooney when talking about the refs this season “No one wants us in the championship, we’ve had our punishment but ultimately the real punishment is for us to go into League 1, or maybe League 2”

Thats a worrying turn of phrase.  Didn't here this bit. Maybe another 15 point deduction is on the cards then.

I think the mistakes for the goal were mostly from the ref. Foul on ebosele in build up and clear foul on Davies by the goal scorer. How on earth that goal was given I will never know.

But truly we have no strikers and that’s how we end up getting nothing from these games. Plus poo refs.

Was a clear foul on Davis.  Same one who gave Jagielka the bust eye against Boro.  Trick against a donkey like that is to give them a yard of space and watch them panic what to do with it with you in front. Then take it off them.  Better strikers, we have 4 points from the last two.  Its told having the Captain on a sun lounger.

Has this been mentioned before?  Just wondered if there is any credibility in it?  Seen on SkyBlues Talk.

I've heard that the highest bidder is Mike Ashley, who's only offering 15p in the £1 to non protected creditors. The EFL want a minimum of 25p in the £1.
The other bidders for the club do not offer enough money.
A 15 point deduction for next season beckons.

I hear different from my source

Word on the arse grape vine is that there is an imposter on SkyBlues Talk reckons Ashley offered 15p in the £1.

Actually, he drunkenly text Derbys admin in the early hrs of Saturday to say he'd pay the lot.  He was then found the following morning tied to a post outside Pride Park holding an empty yard of ale glass, half a cold kebab and wearing a t- shirt saying I LUV SHEEP.

I would take most I've heards with a pinch of salt- unless it's Colins Pile

  12. The only Derby side with a worse forward line than this was when we had Dean Holdsworth at 40.  So frustrating,  any reasonable striker we have 8-9 more points this season.  Plange isn't rubbish, but he's just got a move back to London and probably double the wages at 19.  He has, as I feared would happen,  got the move he wanted earlier than expected and is just killing time.  He's been poor for 5 games and seems like he's been on the lash till 3 in the morning every game. He's anticipating nothing.

  13. Bad Sport on Netflix.  Episode 3 about Juventus influencing the referees panel. There sporting director locking the ref in a room after he ruled out a goal has a familiar ring. Peter Taylor anyone.  Cheating bamfords still at it 30 years later.

We are just starting series 4. Have watched from series 1 since Christmas. Don't talk about the new series till we've caught up!

All good.  Apart from the one with the Russians which lost me somewhat.  Series 5 is a bit convoluted as well.   Break concentration and you'll miss something.

    My guess.

Ashley is the preffered bidder, ticks all the boxes, but he is offering less to Mel for the stadium and less to quantuma for their fees.

Mel won't budge and neither will Quantuma. So it's a stalemate until someone blinks.

If that is the case, I hope Ashley rinses them.

That won't happen mate it has to be agreed before they discuss anything else.  Mel should be quite happy to take rent on the stadium or a couple of million less if he plans to sell it or he winds up with an allotment.

    The administrators are basically poo.
