  1. duck sake.  How can you such an extreme.  Should have been 2-0 up.  This team of players have not got enough fitness, physicality or mental durability to win away from home over 90 minutes.  I despair.  Totally there for the taking. Pissed off thoroughly.

A Chris Martin and Andi Weimann masterclass wouldn't go amiss either in the second half...

I wouldn't count on it .  They seem to hate him more than they hate us with their small club syndrome .  I've even heard rumours of concrete boots and not the ones he's wearing on the pitch nowadays .  Bradley Dack and Sam Gallagher on,  Not sure why their not starting .  Much more mobility.

I've heard that someone high up in DCFC has been putting brown sauce in the bacon cobs and someone else high up in Quantuma prefers Greggs to Birds.

They'd be right.  I find Birds sausage rolls smaller, more gristly and with excessive pastry nowadays.  The pasties tend to be of better quality though but they don't do the peppered steak anymore.  If they start using brown sauce with egg an immediate investigations required and the stories believable, with just bacon is perfectly fine.

Totally random thought but still think jozwiak deal really strange. Why would he want to go there in world cup year? Why didnt we just sell in January or agree for him to go back home in lieu of payments then being cancelled? Just seems really strange. Sorry will go back to work now.

I suspected that may happen.  Perhaps mooted but they just wanted the money or were only willing to write of a portion of the debt.

I seem to recall that several seasons ago there was supposedly a crackdown on this stuff and a few penalties were dished out and a lot of it stopped for a bit. Don't know when the policy changed but the pulling holding is back with a vengeance. More like Rugby than footy. Why don't we have a scrum on the penalty spot instead of a corner. That's what is happening now almost.

That was after Leicester won the title by Huth and Morgan Greco roman wrestling everybody and swapping shirts for 38 games and 800 corners.  They realised the issue and stopped it for year.

  6. Another 0-1.  Scrappy old tussle and a lapse from a free kick with 4 minutes to go .  Derby hit the post straight after following a penalty for handball clearly missed just before they score. Probably Brerton who scores have come on a sub for the last 10 minutes.  Cue the Forest Morlocks going on about agent Brereton before going back to shouting at fire and throwing poo at each other.

  7. Hi Mel, it's the Binnies, its June 2021 and we want to offer you 25 million for the club.

Oh no, The debts over 50 with the loan I took.

    We can't pay that Mel.

Tell you what, I'll put into admin and you can get the debt down to about 25 million and give me 5 million a year till the debts cleared for the loan, then have the ground.

    4 months later

Hi Mel its the Binnies.  It appears some loudmouth from this side of the pond and a leo sayer impersonator want a hypothetical 40 million quid, that wasn't part of the deal.

Don't worry, the admin team will sort it and in the meantime I'll borrow more against the stadium.

Hi Mel it's the Binnies.  It appears the capacity to borrow has ran out and your going to have to flog some players to get to the end of the season and you haven't dealt with the parasites.  As we've lost 3-4 million quid's worth of players from the squad we now want to pay a few million less.

I was looking for a bit more chaps as we now owe another 3 million in loans, tell you what I'll deal with the parasites directly if you increase the bid to 30 million .

Alright Mel, shame you didn't do that in October as the clubs about 8 million quid less valuable as it was then but we want ground thrown in for free . 8 million, plus 3 million quid in extra admin fees, plus the extra 5 million needed were putting in to get this done is about what you wanted to clear the loan you took .  We'll give you 2 -3 million as the admin period might be another 3 months raking up more costs and by that time all the players are leaving and could be buying a League 1 club which was'nt the idea at the start of this.

Hello Binnies it's the admin team.  Can we have 50 million to clear the debt and pay off Mel.  He's a bit worried he might be 40 million down following his accord.

But that's we're we started and we didn't to pay 50 million last year  prior to administration and with some players and a nice golden share and less debt.  I think 30 millions fair as we offered 28 last month.

We don't want to talk to you anymore.

I remember the protracted signing of Jozwiak, many here watching his games for Poland when news broke out we were after him, considering the extra million the price increased to be well worth paying. He was just what Derby needed according to so many and we must sign him. Me, I could not see what everyone else was seeing in him.

Morris to give the stadium back for nowt, then what, the new owners get a £30m stadium thrown in for a £30m takeover fee. They could probably put the club up for sale the next day for £35m, debt free, and make the profit they hoped by investing, a 15 per cent profit thanks to this generous gesture in a blink. They would be the only winners in this and from what I can gather, the sale of the ground will be to pay off the Dell secured loan.

On the whole we may have been better signing that striker for a third of the price I suspect

    Honestly?

If I were Mike Ashley, I`d be looking around what other clubs I could spend my money on and develop right now.

It appears Kirchner is paying around £40m for Preston, a club with a stadium and squad. Maybe not as much potential as DCFC in terms of fan base etc, but still a famous old club, with great history and currently competing at the right end of the Championship.

If as it seems c£50m is required just to take the Club out of administration, is it a good deal in comparison?

Has MM taken the club too far into a black hole?

I dunno, but trying to be logical about it doesn`t make for a good nights sleep.

I can't see he'd pay that.  If he has he's been ripped off.  Must be a 10 million future promotion payment in that at least.

I thought he did the punditry bit very well. Would be a good addition to the radio Derby line up.

After diving under that ball at Wembley and demanding a move repeatedly as soon as Jim Smith came in the door, I'd struggle to hear him criticising someone else's bad play or desire to fight for the cause to be honest.

Not said for a minute MM is ‘hard done’ by, why contort what I’m saying? He did roll the dice of our club’s fortunes and you’re entitled to be angry about that, but less so if you were applauding the cash splurge at the time. (I was by the way, head up my backside as you say)

But his fault 100%? Well, here are some other contenders

    Gibbo 25%.

Maguire (sparking off the amortisation debacle) 10%,

EFL failing to deal with Gibbo etc, 20%

    PL 40%

    Wuhan laboratory, 25%

    Bielik’s acl: 5%

    Bobby Zamora/Keogh 5%

diMarco (failing to call expert evidence) 5%

    club’s auditors 5%

    Q (numerous errors) 10%

What else should we add to the list ? We’re well over 200%

You could have left it at this

I once cycled to the end of Beaufort St, stuck my arm out to turn left, and the bar stewards nicked my watch!

Those coats ain't cheap.  They did right keepin' em on!  ?

This did actually happen to my mate at the bottom of Beaufort street.  Window down, arm leaning on the edge and some lad cycled past and grabbed his arm and pulled the watch off.

Does anyone think Everton will actually go down?

They have a couple of games in hand but the fixtures aren't pretty.  Man utd, West Ham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, Palace and Newcastle up next. Can't see more than 5-6 points from that lot.

Leeds - Southampton, Watford, Brighton, Brentford, Palace , Wolves, Chelsea, Arsenal.  Could be 9-10 there.

If they can do it there's no reason why we can't

They were able to bring in 2 pretty decent standard players to bolster the squad in January.  Particularly the guy whose loan was shortened at Fulham .  We lost our best defender and weren't allowed to bring in a fresh attacking player to give us more of a chance .  Those two things are likely to be our undoing.  Even keeping Jagielka till the end of the season already gives us another 6 or 7 points at this stage I would think.  I would actually consider bringing in Stearman at the minute and resting Davies for a couple.  He looks out on his arse and is concentrating on just getting through the game rather than being the old git orchestrating things position wise. I'm feeling sorry for him.

  15. Should have had a penalty but had the feeling today they would have gone up a gear at any point as we weren't on it. Always helps when you have a 21 million pound striker and millions more on the bench.  One of the few times this season they actually looked a bit fearful and just not up to the challenge . A bit odd in front of 10,000 or less locals banging plastic clappers together.  Two goals at the end of each half is always poor.  Subs looked totally lost which was odd.  In twenty minutes Eboseles speed and Knights energy should inflict some damage.  I literally have no idea why Plange is playing now.  His head went to Crystal Palace the day he signed, he is doing nowt which is frustrating as he was finding space and scoring before his move and he may as well have a fag and a paper in the centre circle at the minute. Must be 8/ 9 games since he got a goal. May as well try Lawrence up front as he got 16 goals up top for Ipswich.  Reading keep waving the white flag but we're not taking the chance.  Lack of the chance to add a striker in January and losing the organisation of Jagielka is starting to tell now.  Someone who could have got 7 or 8 goals might be the difference.

I was going to say that it's okay if Barnsley and Peterborough get points ... as it may put Reading under pressure!

Barnsley and Peterborough can have the same points as Reading for all we care. Just as long as we catch Reading!

But that's because I could not contemplate Barnsley or Peterborough finishing above us!

So, maybe I should worry about Barnsley or Peterborough getting points?!

Worry is that Fulham are currently entering stroll mode as they're 13 points above the team below them who've played a game more.  The team that scored about 20 goals in 3 games not long ago.  Weird games this time of year
