There was alot of crosses that went near post from Ward...Collins didn't get across the defender...the timing of his runs is nowhere near..unfortunately..

collins works extremely hard and can score, but is so wasteful,he hardly ever beats a defender, whether in the air,or on the floor, and needs fitting with a tracker to know where he is.we need better

Wildsmith - Ward Nelson Cashin Forsyth - Fornah Bird - Wilson Sibley Barkhuizen - Collins

Vickers Bradley Nyambe Elder Hourihane NML TJJ

With a few games over a short period I would start with NML on the bench ideally we dont even need to bring him on. We will then need to rotate Barkhuizen, Sibley & Wilson for the other games oxer Xmas & NY. Can also rotate Fozzy/Elder & Ward/Nyambe as well as Fornah/Hourihane/Bird.

over the recent weeks, nml has looked the fittest player on the park, still having plenty in the tank after 80 minutes.wildsmith, cash, nelson, and nml are the only four that should be guaranteed a start

    1. If there was a fire, do you think the stewards would be blocking the stairwell checking tickets?

    2. The ref had a good game. Hourihane and NML both had poor touches and lunged after the ball, missed it and took their player down. Both spot on yellows all day. Bird was beaten by his man and pulled him back to prevent him launching an attack. Yellow. Leahy went down under a nothing challenge from Sibs, IMO he was trying to get Sibs a 2nd yellow and therefore, red. Collo thought the same and pulled him to his feet. I presume Collo also told Leahy what he thought of his cheating. That got Leahy riled and there was handbags. In the lead up to that incident there had been some tasty tackles going in. She probably carded them as a warning to everybody to calm down. Sibs was stupid for his. The whistle had gone and his half hearted "shot" was totally unnecessary. We all know it's one of the things refs were told to clamp down on in the summer. She followed instructions and later carded Vokes for a similar occurrence. Consistency is what we've asked for and we got it. Was she perfect? No. However, she had a far better game than either team.

i dont think the ref made bad decisions by the laws of the game, for me it was the refs lack of authority that allowed ww to play to their strengths with the dark arts. shirt pulling and pushing in both goal mouths, every tackle their players went down as if they were shot, every free kick or throw in they gained ground, every chance they got they stopped play for as long as they could, they ignored direct commands, and the ref was complicit in allowing it to happen

Their 1 was the penalty. Ours were the goal and, I presume, Cash's header. We might have a third as well, the one where Wilson went into the 6 yard box and the ball came off his thigh and was punted away by a defender about a yard off the line.

17 registered shots between us and just the 3 or 4 on target. Sums the game up.

    sums up our attack

I don’t understand why fans get hysterical over the opposition wasting a bit of time . It all gets added on at the end , that’s why we are having 100 minute games . What is annoying is pro players hoofing crosses into the crowd when you just have to keep the ball for a few more minutes.

totally with you on the pointless crossing to defenders when we have no forwards capable of winning a header, but thats down to warnes tactics, not the ref.i get you with the time wasting getting added on,but no free kick or throw in was taken from the correct position yesterday, and the ref and lino's let it happen

  6. 1Wildsmith       5 nothing to do,not the best distribution

23Ward             5.5 poor in defence, did what he was told to do going forward

    35Nelson          7 solid

    6Cashin             6.5 solid

    3Forsyth            3 a rare stinker

    5Bradley            5 defended

4Hourihane        4 playing too deep wasting his creative ability further forward

    7Barkhuizen       5 scored

2Wilson              5.5 decent first half but changes pushed him further back on the left second half

19John-Jules     6 put himself about,we need to see him earlier

    8Bird                   5.5 got crowded out

17Sibley              5.5 wasted in wing it and whack it

22Fornah            4.5 only seems to run or pass in the direction he is facin

    11Méndez-Laing 6 our only threat,pray he doesn't get injured

9Collins               5.5 if we just needed a work horse, collins is the man, unfortunately we need a stallion, which collins is not

TEAM PERFORMANCE  4 below par,we cause our own problems being toothless up front

  7. i get the feeling of a rinse and repeat of last season, where warne was forced into changes through injury and hit on a formula that took us on an unbeaten run,but couldn't wait to get back to his preferred 3 at the back that had been failing before the forced change and ultimately cost us a chance of the play offs.here we are again,on a good run through forced changes, yet trying the stuff that hasn't worked now we have a few players back.the football has not been good this season, but i am prepared to endure it whilst picking up points, but it looks as though warne has learnt very little from last season, and is happy to go back down the same route
