I don't advocate for booing, but it's really no surprise that fans aren't happy with such a performance. Winning at home vs bottom of the table league one sides is the absolute minimum expectation for Derby. They don't get plaudits for meeting that.
i'm not for the booing, but other than walking out,how do the fans let warne know of their dissatisfaction with the display

The Cheltenham player that collided with the post right at the end looked like he really hurt himself. Anybody know how he is?
our best defender, saved us 2 points

a stunning free kick got us into the game, the only piece of football played in the entire match got us 3 points, there is no excuse for the total dross served up for the rest of the game

I agree with you, Archied, in that we are too attacking most games, leaving ourselves too open to the counter-attack.
It's a totally different style to Rowett's were we did sit in and score on the counter.
I'd still like us to have a bit more control, though, even if that means taking our time on the build-up.
Warne's style seems to work best when we play against teams who are better than us, so we can do the counter-attacking. Alas, there are few of these teams at our level, and that is our biggest problem.
yet we defend with 11 in our box, with no outlet to relieve the pressure, eventually capitulating to late goals

100%. The moaning disappears for weeks when we are winning AND playing well but as soon as we have a bad game AS ALL TEAMS DO up they pop like a fart in a phone box.
we have played very little football well in the last two seasons, people will put up with the dross while results go the right way,and moaning is pointless because we are getting points.when the points are coming and the football is dross, people who are not happy with it will call it out

Fair enough in that case. Not to move the goalposts too much but I’d be surprised if the players signed by half of those were on our radar, and two of them sold players in the summer for (for them) significant transfer fees. Which brings us on to paragraph 2 of my previous post…
Ultimately it’s a pointless discussion as he’s not going anywhere, but imo he is doing at very best about par. I just really really struggle with the argument he is not backed or is working with his hands tied. In my opinion it is fantasy designed to excuse what so far is a transfer record that is crap if you’re feeling generous. I wonder how much it comes to when you tally up the wages we must be spending on his signings that so far look to be pretty poor either due to a bad initial fit, abandoning 3ATB after 3 games or just that they don’t seem to be very good or he doesn’t trust them anyway.
or gambles on sick notes, add up all the wasted sick pay,and we could of had one hell of a player at this level

Warne’s RD interview was interesting. He magnanimously said he brings Bradley on to score from set pieces and since he didn’t score, that was one Warne got wrong. Apart from that … it’s all down to the players.
The problem is : if the players are continually blamed and if they don’t believe in him as a tactician, then they lose their motivation. And his ‘gas out’ approach can only work if they are 100% motivated.
Players enjoy playing good football. He needs to find a way to get them playing better football
how many times has this happened, and how many goals has bradley scored.clearly a master plan.if he wants bradley to score,he knows we are playing with no height up front,so why keep crossing to giant defenders.11/12 corners against lincoln, how many actually hit a ram.we simply dont have the right ingredients for wing it and whack it
-
as others have said,we need a box to box warrior, but i think we already have that player in cashin.move cash further forward and try bradley in his cb role, got to be worth a try saturday

That's up there with the most angry I've been this season.
The fact we could have gone top and have gone to a team in the bottom 3 and not even mustered a shot on target is a shambles really.
Elder was the only one to come out with any credit.
Nelson and Cashin were ok. Cashin gave the ball away too many times though.
Bird and Hourihane were a joke. Half hearted tackles. No control. Offered absolutely nothing. We are crying out for a midfielder who can break up play, put his foot on the ball and dictate play. That midfield is all over the place.
Collins was offside at almost every opportunity. Even when the ball didn't go to him. He's offside.
Sibley and Ward came on and did absolutely nothing again.
TJJ looks like he's done. No great loss at all.
We still need 3 players in for me.
other than a top wage for the rest of the season, stupid gamble given that he hasn't shown any reason on the pitch to warrant keeping him

tonight was the culmination of a string of poor performances over the last few weeks, this result has been coming
-
we dont have anyone capable of shooting,or heading on target
-
collins main attribute is his worst enemy,he is a worker, constantly running about looking for work, never holding his position

we are so slow and lethargic, need to quicken up

Looks set to be cold as balls for everyone going.
Hopefully the team can keep you all warm.
...and remember, if you're cold, the're cold, so be kind to Burton fans, they often bark when they are afraid or unsure and it's sensible to keep a safe dstance if you encounter 1 that's loose, but many of them can be safety rehabilitated and rehomed. There are charities in the Burton-on-Trent area that deal with distressed Burton fans, and the accusations thay they got melted down to make tyres is completely unproven.

I wouldn't mind one or two of their players, but feel they'll have set a high asking price for players they picked up for free in the summer
how on earth were they allowed to sign players with no money, whilst we were put in chains
