europia reacted to ram59 in Bielik at Brum
Impressive performances in Poland's likely 3 or 4 games in the world cup would likely attract a bid from a top league team from one of the top nations. If there is a release clause in the loan contract, Derby could take advantage or keep him, depending on how our season is progressing.
His performance on Saturday after so little training is encouraging, but staying fit is the big challenge.

Do we still owe Arsenal money for him.
Another shocking transfer.
At least when we can only sign freebies it means we can't spaff millions down the drain.

Yep, I've never enjoyed that drive on a Saturday, never mind a Friday evening. Bonkers.

Need to start getting positive results away from home.
If we're mainly draws and defeats away and mainly wins with occasional defeats at home, that's mid table form.
Is Curtis anywhere near fit?
I'd be tempted to give Rooney a chance at cdm and push bird/Hourihane further forward. And only play one of them.
Otherwise I'd try Oduroh at rb and push Knight in as the 3rd midfielder in a 433.

We need to wise up in midfield.

Hopefully this match shows to our player's and supporters AND manager that getting out of League 1 isn't going to be a cake walk

Can’t say I noticed a sponsor?
Don’t cancel me ?

Maybe David Clowes is like many of us. He is prepared to undertake a task for a good cause, but is a bit reticent asking people to sign his sponsor form. Perhaps his mum will become our main sponsor?

I know there are rules about having to pick so many players involved in the previous and/or next match but I hope the club just pay the £5k fine if necessary and pick whoever they want.
An absolute nonsense of a competition which just adds more clutter to an already congested fixture list and any injuries picked up would be especially galling.
Rest the vast majority Liam and get ready for Plymouth on Saturday.
Something like the following would suit me:
Fowkes, Odurah, Grewall-Pollard, Rooney, Roberts, Robinson, Thompson, Aghatise, Nunn, Cybulski, Ibrahim

Couldn't even listen to the commentary on the day. Was hugely disappointed with the team selection but it's worse having forced myself to watch the full 90 on Rams TV.
It was a poor game, the Rams with no cohesion and no energy in midfield. It meant there was a lot more long ball than normal. I wondered if I was imagining it but WhoScored confirms the proportion was different from how we normally try to play. The only time our midfield has worked all season is when we play Sibley in the middle because he has the energy to link defence and attack and ability to carry the ball forward and play people in. Knight would likely bring even more energy although he's not as dangerous or skillful as a player. Without either/both of those we just ceded control.
It was Collins' best game for us, so seemed a mad pre-planned move to take him off when he was still full of running, to bring a raw 19 year old when we desperately needed to be able to hold the ball and have a focal point. Thompson is really struggling this season and again it seemed mad to bring him on when we needed energy and power and forward-thinking play in midfield.
We're being told to do stupid things like boot kickoffs back to the keeper so Wildsmith can then kick it out of play from the edge of his goal area. What's that about? Ditto the daft goalkicks. Again our set pieces further up the field lacked imagination or execution.
Rosenior talks a good talk but his actions don't always back up his words. This was on him, unbalancing the team and reaping the consequences. We're not playing to our potential at the moment because the selection and set up isn't right.

Interesting given Rosenior said he'd considered playing a back three against West Brom so it's obviously in his mind. I like the idea of not being too predictable and sometimes wrong-footing the opposition. Not sure about this specific selection.

Hilatious. It's precisely the problem we "only" have 4 outfield players up front. So few is why we almost never score any goals!
If you're reading this Liam, then ditch the mad idea of 2 CDMs (and always start Sibbo!).

Yes, he looks our biggest goal threat at present, so should start.

Absolutely, for someone to shell out circa +£50m for an acquisition probably only worth half of that is an amazing act of philanthropy.
