Kinder reacted to Carl Sagan in Derby County vs Fulham matchday thread, Friday 15th April, 8pm
If the “many universes interpretation” of quantum mechanics is true, then somewhere in the multiverse Derby County win their final five games and survive on the last day of the season, in front of a full house including the 71/72 title winning side. Let’s hope we are living in that universe, and I accrue legendary status on the forum for creating the match threads that led us to this unlikely salvation.
For the wave packet to collapse in our favour, it has to start by being an especially good Friday against the runaway league leaders.
Come on you Rams!

Fairly pacey wing player. Surprised he was picked over some of the other academy lads if I'm honest, but best of luck to him... hopefully he makes an impression ?

A bit of a summary of the Q & A on Twitter. He sounds ok to me and I feel someone is trying to put him down.

Gerald Krasner, former Wigan administrator, advised on radio derby during the week that we should ignore all newspaper stories for the next 3 weeks as there will be lots of agitators out there looking to scupper the deal if they can.
I'll be following his advice.

Yeah, and all the players used to wear tight, peephole tops.
Or was that a dream I had about George Thorne?

I think that was on your Swingers forum. We call it unclean genitalia down here in the south but we are more gentrified.

Whether it’s replaced or not, the Collymore song can get in the bin. Tinpot and crass in equal measure.

Time to change the lyrics, and make it more topical and relevant to our situation.
I won't try and circumvent the swear filter, but I'm sure you'll get the drift if you see this topic before it disappears!
Mel Morris is a banker,
He wears a bankers hat,
He said he loved our Derby,
But he's a ducking twit.
He said that he would sell us,
And wanted just a pound,
But he's a lying bar steward,
And took away our ground.

This isn’t my tweet, but just wanted to acknowledge its sentiment. I think sometimes the online world and forum’s like this can live in a vacuum somewhat and those who trade in the online world (a la Nixon, Percy, Talksport) end up being king or atleast shape the discussion. This is why we have such a scramble for being the first one to release info and everyone getting over excited.
But behind that, Radio Derby have done a very good job. We’ve not always agreed with them, and they’ve not done everything right imo, but they’ve probably been the most consistent for news and what’s going on. What we thought in September is very different to what we know now and they’ve had to learn and inform as they went along with everyone else. Ed has always been ahead of the news throughout and worked tirelessly to do so. Chris Coles is very highly thought of anyway and has kept the debate sensible. Those Rams Daily podcasts/sportscene has been largely excellent at keeping the fanbase informed. Also the recent reintroduction of Colin Gibson as an experienced media pro has been welcome and a positive move.
Maguire has always been willing to talk, and whilst he’s splits many of us, I do think he’s been doing it to help football fans understand what’s going on. I have to admit my opinion of him has done a complete 180.
So yeah, I just think they deserve a bit of appreciation for the work they’ve put in so far, from somewhere they wouldn’t expect it from.

Two years ago (I think) on the 4th April it was Derby vs Forest and the Aintree Grand National. Everything got cancelled. The 4th April is my birthday. I was absolutely gutted. Yesterday the Mrs had surprised me with my very own pub. I and she work for the NHS. We were exhausted. I had a funny feeling that the PB would be announced on or around my birthday. Finally some hope and future COYR

I agree here. If Reading win their game in hand this week it'll be 9 points with 6 to go. Meaning we've got to win at least 3 out of 6 to have any chance and even that would mean we'd need Reading to lose all 6.
I can't see us winning 3 out of the last 6 game. Realistically Reading will win at least 2. Meaning we'd need 5 wins minimum and we aren't doing that.
If Reading beat Stoke at home this week then any slim chance we have is gone.
If we're gonna get -15 points taken off us then it might as well be now. Sweep this god awful season under the rug and give ourselves the best chance of getting out of league one next season.
