None of those players are Warne signings, some he'll want keep, depending on which division we'll be playing in. If we do get promoted, we'll need a certain amount of clearing of the decks in order to get better players in to compete at a higher level.
The trouble with offering certain players extended contracts now, is that those who aren't offered new contracts will feel put out. Warne is a big one on harmony within the squad, a sure way to spoil this is to effectively say to a few of the team 'I'm not interested in keeping you'.  I think that Warne will also need to evaluate how these players fit into the new dynamics of the team, which we will see this season.
I think that new contracts will be looked at in the lead up to the new year, when we have a better idea of where we are headed and how the players fit into the project.

No, can only sign pre-contact with foreign leagues (including Scotland). So, they can't within England in January.
Things are being done. You've seen that with Rooney today. @Big Travposted a few weeks back we were in talks with a whole stack of players, including most, if not all, of the players you've mentioned.

If he'd played every minute in the league of last season, he would have scored 18 (at the rate he was scoring at).  So him scoring 20 is not beyond crazy, if we're playing more to his strengths this year.
(Obviously over-simplistic stat is over-simplistic etc etc.)

Collins is limited .. v v limited. But he is a presence and can as hes shown in his career score goals
personally im Not a fan at all… but that being said with a couple of proper wings backs that hopefully will now release barks and nml higher up then maybe he gets a bit more service and quality

I really don't have a problem at all with the idea of not relying on a 25 goal a season striker and wanting more goals from around the team because otherwise with a small squad you are heavily reliant on that goal scorer not getting injured. The problem is that we seem to have balanced one side of the equation with the departure of McGoldrick but we seem just as unlikely to score goals from around the rest of the team as last year.

I understand that there is plenty of time yet (and it is just my assessment of the situation) but it seems that we are either wholly reliant on departures to fund these forward options or we simply have not been able to land our preferred targets (possibly caveated by a 'yet') due to competition from other clubs.
From what relatively little I know about them I'm OK with what we've signed so far, but are we better off overall than last year ? Not yet IMHO. I just can't see where the goals are coming from and McGoldrick's quality and touch is going to be sorely missed I reckon. If we wanted someone to just run around a lot and put a good shift in then we'd just play Collins. There is surely a reason why we and Warne decided that probably isn't going to work this year. We really need some cutting edge as well as the huff and puff.

It's just dull, nothing to get excited or even to get annoyed about. 😄

Not sure why I even have an opinion though... can't remember the last time I bought one!

I knew it was awful before I pressed send. Still did it.

Just under 1 in 2 at Prem 2 level, suggests he knows where the goal is. Might be a good bench option. You'd imagine he'd prefer to stay local and move to the coast though.
Interestingly (or not) I once loaned him on Football Manager when we had an embargo and he hit 25+ goals in league one. Signed him again but permanently for about £7m a year later and he was a key player to getting us to the premier league.
