GenBr got a reaction from MickD in Once a Ram... Not Always a Ram?
He did it because he already had a lot of abuse and a lot of crap from grown adults who professed to be Derby fans on social media. Quite frankly - putting his fingers in his ears is a very mild reaction from him and I admire his restraint. He isn't made of stone - just because the club gave him an opportunity doesn't mean he is obligated to just ignore the idiots in our fanbase.

Some of the stuff on Twitter today is obscene.  I just don’t get it.

Why would you assume @Tyler Durden meant Shef Wed when he mentioned selling the ground? David also talked about Stoke selling their ground in his first post, which i would assume was the purpose of his comment.

Its being reported that Wednesday are not the only club considering this either. Its based on guidance given by the EFL.
Love Shef Wed as a club, so really hope they are going to be ok

"Everyones National laughing stock, Wayne Rooneys Rams, are again looking to scrape the barrel with at least 5 loan signings for the upcoming season. The usual plan of arseing about chasing the tails of good Championship players, only to be pipped to the post on every one is already in full swing, but they hope the advert in the local green'un will come up trumps when it comes to attracting capable loan signings ready for the relegation battle ahead"
    Better?

LOL - ok mate. I mean if folk discussing stuff with you is so meaningless then you could always refrain from posting. Not sure why you're defensive, nor why you're so dismissive of people's opinions when they don't match your own. Anyway, sorry to have bothered you with my meaningless posts! ?‍♀️?

Pleased to see at least one relegated team staying down
on the other hand most of that Brentford side out there today wouldn’t be allowed to sign for a British club since January which might make their progress interesting

I meant in terms of last years accounts which havent been submitted but havent resulted in an embargo.
The current embargo is based off this years delayed accounts like other clubs.
Not entirely sure when the date is/was, I guess we dont know if we have submitted what was required already to lift the embargo.

We've been linked with Gary Cahill as well and that is never going to happen. The papers link us to every player going, because they know we'll draw clicks to their sites. Being linked with someone doesn't mean we are interested in them and it definitely doesn't mean we have the resources to pay for them.

Oh god, I just really hope we get lucky and someone like Watson or Stretton have a mad breakthrough season with loads of goals and/or assists
At the moment, it does look really bad on the investment front so another relegation scrap seems likely
Only positives: maybe Jozwiak/Sibley will be much improved, Lawrence not missing three months might make a big difference... and now for the coup de grace of clutching at straws... IBE?

I hate FFP as much as the next man, but I don't think the "shackles" implemented by the EFL are what are causing the damage. Mel has known the rules since he purchased the club and has only himself to blame for the failure to stay within those rules. Limiting spending is not going to put your club at more risk - it might make it a lot more difficult to get promoted, but I can't see how its going to make anybody go out of business. If we'd followed the rules and not tried creative ways to get around them we would be fine.
The fact that the EFL has done basically nothing to help with Covid and is actively punishing clubs who have yet to file their accounts is the main issue for me at the moment. They are completely out of touch and frankly I don't think they will be happy until they have destroyed a few more of their member clubs entirely.

I don't think it's right to rule out a points deduction at this time due to no precedent. However, I believe it would be absolutely unreasonable to do so in the circumstances.
It should, and most likely will be, a fine.

Home shirt should commemorate the title winning side.
Yellow away shirt with blue shorts.
Third shirt (which for the past two seasons has become the away kit) should be black.
