GenBr reacted to Rev in Please don’t blame Morris and Pearce.
Saying you can't blame Morris and his minion because they care is laughable.
It would be like me offering to do a heart transplant, rather than a heart surgeon, because I care more for the patient.

Noticed some people having a go .
We are Derby fans and we should stick together and back the Club
Its easy to be derogatory about the owners in this situation but the real enemy is the EFL
They are an absolute joke of an institution and don’t get me started on Steve Gibson and Wycombe Wanderers

Well he wouldn't have met you there because you are a half fan who couldn't even be bothered to travel to Florida for a friendly.....
0-0 in your cup final, 0-0 in your cup final, 0-0 in your cup final, 0-0 in your cup final.

Clearly the efl are going to try and relegate us through the re submission of our accounts which, are no doubt, already calculated.
I can't see how we won't be in breach or we wouldnt have tried it on in the first place and submitted them in a different manner to every other team in the country.
I'm starting to think that league 1 in six weeks is inevitable and that a total reset and a fresh start is perhaps what's required,if nothing else but to get the efl permanently off our backs.
I just want to watch Derby play football,I'm sick of this.

Do we have to play a game in the Championship and a game in League 1 on the same day .
Could be 2 away trips on the same day for us an Wycombe.
Should be fun lol ?

It's ok we will be fine, we have everybody's hero Mel Morris, the finest chairman in the land, alongside Stephen Tonto Pearce to steer the club through turbulent waters.

Because the EFL are a bunch of inept idiots who couldn’t organise a *** up in a brewery

It’s not that simple though. I don’t care how much money you’ve got, buying an asset that is £40million in debt is a red flag and needs careful consideration. This wasn’t a one off expense, which could be paid off and start fresh. This club is in a financially bad place and a careful plan needs to be put in place. I’ll be glad if we’ve got people possibly buying us who are taking their time and drawing a plan to run us sensibly, instead of a buy now, fix later problem.

Grealish and Saka the highlights for us. Overall thought it was pretty poor again, but thats Southgates doing rather than the players. Still think we're going to struggle as soon as we play one of the big boys in the competition.

Before a ball was kicked I didn't think we were good enough to win the tournament and tonight's performance gave me no encouragement to change that opinion.

GenBr got a reaction from i-Ram in RamsTV Subscription increased by EFL
I thought you meant £25 per game after seeing all the outrage. £25 per month is an absolute bargain if that includes the majority of the games. £12.50 per month you may as well wear a mask

GenBr got a reaction from MickD in Jason Knight
We clearly see things differently. Knight, Bird and Sibley were all far better under cocu and personally i think he managed his youth contingent very well. All of them are going backwards under Rooney and nothing will change in that regard.
We need to sell whilst they still have some value and they need to leave before we irreversibly cripple their careers.

You've misread the thread. The poll is where people think we'd finish at as things currently stand. It isnt where do you think we'll finish after buying half a dozen players. People are being realistic and saying we'll go down with our current situation and most will reassess if we build a new team.

Yes. I'd put Frank Lampard in charge. He'd actually make good use of all our attacking talent. We might concede 9 goals, but we'll score 10 with him charge. Englands defence is crap anyway, so may as well play to our strengths. At the very least he would play some entertaining football.

I've voted for 15-20th, and I think I've been optimistic to the point of delusion with that prediction.
