EtoileSportiveDeDerby got a reaction from Eddie in New laptop specs?
Have you tried to turn off some of the services that always get started at startup?
If you do get a Windows11, the more memory you can afford the better

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to DCFC1388 in Premier (former) rams
This just goes to show that teams at all levels are finding it difficult to bring strikers in, like Warne alluded to a week or so ago.
Neither Osula or Dobbin are ready to start in top half League 1 teams let alone playing in the Prem

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Archied in Billy Sharp
Yep I’ve lived the experience of losing a child too and that’s maybe why I cut sharp a bit of slack , for me it’s not just the direct abuse he has taken and responded to , what I felt for a long time was I hated being around people who got / get stressed , angry , up tight , ect ect ect over stuff that in my position I felt was duck all ( I know everything is relative ) and I could bubble inside and want to strangle them ,
I don’t know how recent your loss is and I know there’s bugger all anybody can say that really helps , all I can offer you is my experience and the conclusion I am at now which is , you never get over it but rather you learn to survive it and there does come a time when you can allow yourself to feel happy without feeling guilty about being happy ,

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Sparkle in Is Warne living on borrowed time?
Far to early in this season for anything overly negative
I would like to see a genuine spark to our play and a player that is good to watch.
442 would at least mean people know their jobs as well
knight and McGoldrick were very good players weren’t they

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to TigerTedd in Saudi Retirement Home
I’m hearing lots of people getting in their high horse about it. The fact is, unless you’re some sort of monk who has sworn off the material trappings of life, if a Saudi arab came and offered you 5x your wage to do the same job but easier for a year or two now, You would be seriously thinking about it.
move heard so much about this in the radio recently, I’ve been seriously looking to see how much I’d get paid for my job out there. Turns out, not as much as a footballer.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Andrew3000 in Saudi Retirement Home
May have already been said, sorry if so, but this is not a fair comparison because elite footballers of the type going to Saudi Arabia are already set for life, free from toil if they choose. Most of us are not.
Also, there is always more than one motivation for anything we choose to do.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby got a reaction from TigerTedd in Ocean Temperature (strictly apolitical)
El Nino innit?
When you see the amount of energy required to bring a kettle to the boil, I wonder how much more energy was required/absorbed to raise the ocean temperature by that much.
Scary stuff, the sh!t we have left for our kids to sort out is unreal.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Mucker1884 in Money
I get the impression that the amount David Clowes is prepared to stump up out of his own pocket is comfortably within any remaining constraints that have been mutually agreed with The EFL.
Personally, I have absolutely no qualms about David Clowes setting himself a budget limit, and keeping to it/within it. In fact, I'm a big fan of such a sensible approach, and ergo, am a big fan of the guy that saved us.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Terry Hennessy in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
Well I guess we'll find out this week if he signs or not eh...for what it's worth I thought he looked OK for the 15 or 20 mins he came on during the Sheff Utd game.
I still think we need someone else though....

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Carnero in Women's World Cup
Has VAR led to more "correct" decisions? Probably.
Has VAR made the game more entertaining? Definitely not!
Scrap it.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Bris Vegas in Women's World Cup
Be interesting to know whether it’s a mutual feeling across Europe.
I just remember the days pre VAR in the Fergie years when Utd were awarded horrendous decisions on a weekly basis. I don’t think the bias towards them was good for the game either.
The idea of VAR is good. The execution of it is rubbish.

I think tomorrow is just another Friday, ain’t it? 🤷♂️

He's the middle one of these three.

Can’t wait to wear Bottle Green during every game in our annual February collapse.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to RoyMac5 in Martyn Waghorn - signed a 1-year deal
He'd probably be putting the crosses in. I'm just amazed that after his two short cameos at this level he easily looks as good as Collins. He's smarter, faster and more skilful (ffs what?!), can't see we've anything to lose from giving him a 1 year deal.

They previously lived in kitchens and were called Teet-Owls.
