Never a story I'd posted before... But one none the less. When we got tanked against Rotherham back in Feb saw him at a bank in Derby. Heard someone ask him what happened against Rotherham, he told them that Rooney had them playing a formation that they had no idea how to play and no players knew their role. Hearing a player say that, no ownership for being s*#t that day and all the blame on the manager. 
Not the kind of footballer we need at the club.

In all fairness the Wigan deal was criminal rather than a bad deal. The owner had the money but deliberately destroyed the club. 
I'll wait for more details who the Americans are before any real comment but gut instinct is we might see some of the previous American owners return in a different consortium.

Interesting that Cocu and his team are their clients too, suspect the club may have still had more links to the group even after the events with Sam Rush.

Champions of England for however many of the recent years, playing under a legendary coach of this generation. 
Derby got a fair amount for him too given he wasn't anywhere near the first team yet. 
I'd question a players ambition if he turned down one of the 'Big 4' when they hadn't even broken in the Derby team.

I'd see it as a green flag if anything. Chansiri is leading the Wendies on a long road of collapse currently.

I'm just going to point out our last two Players of the Year.... 
Tomori and Clarke. Neither had played a substantial amount of time in our league prior to signing. 
I would say our hit rate with signing decent loan defenders is pretty good right now.

We're saying United are poaching our youngsters... potentially rather there assisting the club with Rooney in charge i. e. Inflated fees 

Devil's advocate here but perhaps part of his sale would include a possible loan in Derby's direction?
Rooney is clearly a fan of Phil Jones and would make sense. Sensible transfer fee for Kaide (~2 Mill) plus a sell on fee and a player on loan at substantially reduced wages would be a very smart move for all parties.

As it stands Rooney is already bang on, we'll be out of this league come the end of the season on current standings. 

How dare they do that! 10 point deduction and £5 mill fine, keeping a player against his will like that and stopping him going to Leeds.
