Well , seen as no one is taking my brilliant suggestion seriously lets try this one instead to the tune of the drugs don't work...

Now the crosses don't work , they just hit the first man, but i know Mendez Laing will get down the middle again...

Get creative , surely no one can make fun of this one....

I faced the same unbelievable lack of support for my Waghorn suggestion...

To the tune of oggy oggy oggy

    # Waggy, Waggy, Waggy...

    .#.score score score

    Genius.

  2. It's impossible to know really.

When any team is 1-0 down in a close game, they generally will get on top.. and as soon as they equalise the whole tempo of the game changes.

So, I understand the idea that Bradley's introduction is a bit negative mentally, it suggests we are just preparing to hang on.

But wouldn't that happen inevitably anyway as the clock winds down, so it makes sense to get our biggest, strongest, best header of the ball on the pitch?

  3. Finally got round to starting a recommendation :

    'Mr Inbetween'.

The set up sounds similar to 'Barry' but it's a bit less slapstick and more about the day-to-day activities of a hit man than of him wanting to start a new life.

Short episodes that are rattling by. Good quality,  enjoying it so far.

    8/10

Never let it be said that he doesn't get the opportunity.

Oh ..come on. All this pathetic nit-picking when we have won is beyond ridicule.

However....Shaun Barker constantly referring to James Collins as 'Collo' on Ramstv,  should result in him being whipped through the streets, absolutely drives me mad.

  5. Very quiet on here. I think no one was particularly enamoured with yesterday's performance even if the 3 points were crucial.

The Warne-outers know another win, Derby nestled in the playoffs and top 2 being within sight means their vociferous calls for him to go are going to fall on deaf ears.

However,  as a Warne-in'er... it was a tough watch for periods yesterday.  The first half was scruffy, untidy and lacking in quality. The substitutions definitely helped us and we probably just about deserved the goal and I felt we looked brighter then.

Bristol rarely troubled us and the equaliser was a hammer blow out of nothing. I just didn't see us scoring but Fornah showed real class and NML who was head and shoulders above the rest going forward grabbed the winner.

Don't think Bristol deserved much but we weren't great either. Our final ball and most of our deadball delivery were pretty terrible.

Take the win and can start to look up but the midfield looks one-paced, we didn't really have much width and had little menace in front of goal. Players to come back are going to be vital.

It felt like a backward step with our to n fro performances but this time we still got the job done. Really need to kick on now and use the squad better.

  6. For all the constant disagreements about Warne, I'd say there's a decent chance  that ;

Top 2 is great.  He will get the beginning of another season to prove he can flourish in the Championship

Top 6 and up via the play offs.  Same as above but with even less time to prove history isn't going to repeat itself.

Top 6 and failure to go up. Depending how unlucky and plucky we are, he may possibly get another shot but the knives will be out pretty much all the time and possibly be toxic.

Outside the play offs and he will go.

Outside the play offs early on - he will be replaced before the season ends.

Kind of but no. It was the second fight after the Wilder I fight and he weighed 18 stone. He struggled to beat him (yes he had a cut, but the fight was actually pretty close).

Wallin since has won every fight including beating a highly rated Gassiev who had only lost to Usyk before.

Didn't realise Eddie Hearn was a Derby fan.

All along it's never been a binary decision but forum members on here have made it so.

I purposely didn't post anything last night as one win doesn't dictate the entire course of one season in the same manner that one loss doesn't either.

But after a loss then it would seem that's our season doomed if you listened to some forum members reactions and responses. Or because we're now x points from the top 2 places.

Anyway it's called balance and the more we see of it on here the more threads like this will start to dissolve away into nothingness.

Agreed. I argued that point a few times.

I was Warne-in, not because I thought he was doing amazingly wel but because he has a track record of getting out of this league.  While we are still in the hunt I prefer to stick, rather than constantly twisting in the hope we can trade our cow for magic beans this time.

The narrative over the poor football was over stated too. That's not to say some performances haven't been poor and we have thrown away a couple of results against teams we should be beating.

But even now 2 more wins and we'd be right up there. The season is long and just starting to unfurl.  A run of 2 or 3 poor games and results and the pressure will be huge again.

The posts that I miss and always made me smile the most were when a poster said they couldn’t get to the game and the solutions he would offer.  Simply brilliant.

Now let’s go and get promotion!!

My condolences to his family and friends.

    RIP B4 🐏.

This was my reflection.  His single-minded attitude towards getting to the match.

As a parent it always made me smile thinking of his Dad being organised and directed to get him to the game and how B4 expected everyone to have the same attitude as he did about his priorities.

Speaks volumes for his family how he spoke of them and knew they would back him up, move heaven and earth to make him happy. Hopefully in the future being able to read all that will give them some comfort.

Its been a noticeably quieter and less positive place over the last few weeks without him. The transfer speculation will be particularly less exciting without him too.

  10. Surely B4 has opened more threads than anyone else? He just loved a positive pre/postmatch rant/prediction/call to arms.

He never minded what other people thought and was always so good natured in all his posts.

What about turning the forum pink for a day as a good natured tribute! Or maybe not...

Thoughts go to everyone close to him.

  11. It was the perfect 'Warne' performance I'm guessing.

We looked like we wanted it much more. Had desperate last ditch tackles if needed, blocked the crosses, drew them in with short passes from the keeper and then went longer.

Looked stronger, fitter. Scored from free kicks. Managed the game.

    Deserved to win.

Wilson and NML beat their man from out wide. Collins bullied the centre backs.

    Players to come back.

Warne will be happy tonight but I'm expecting to temper it until we do it more than once.
