Great run by dobbin

osula awesome finishing … might be exactly what we’ve needed
collins dobbo and mcgoldrick supporting ..
-
-
As I wrote that we give a penalty away
-
We are looking far more threatening when we go forward and I’m enjoying the balance in midfield with our homegrown trio of Bird knight and Sibley.
would love Dobbin to get a goal. Really attacking abs youthful team! Love it!

I don’t think he needs to take it back - he didn’t say or do anything wrong.
I remember at the time not liking it at all - but more because that’s how our club had become viewed by some and the worst but .. not without some reason.
I didn’t like the comments because they had a ring of truth. I admired Warne at the time for being a man that was honest and human in his response. He was t derogatory that I remember.
Nowt wrong with that.

Osula looked decent when he came on - looked a handful - all of a sudden we seem to start have a few options up front.
we also have smith to come back too.
one away win and I’m all excited

I guess I can understand, at a stretch, where the Cambridge fans are coming form but they miss the context -
new team/ brand new manager/we haven’t scored an away goal all season.
We did what we needed to against a team with a good home record. That’s how you get promoted.
I could be wrong but I don’t think we win that under Liam.

What a difference that was! I always remember when he and Knight were starting to get game time under Cocu and they combined for Knight to score against Charlton (just as Rooney joined as a player).
Hopefully now Max can become that awesome modern midfielder that we knew he was capable of being. The second goal yesterday exemplifies what I mean.
Keep this up young man. Great performance. Brilliant to see.

Taking into account
it was late in the game
it was against ten men
we were chasing the game
but I thought the team that finished the match looked good. More balance in midfield CH more advanced Smith as the anchor with some nice positive pass. Fuzzy made a difference and Didzy looked a level above everyone else
wouldn’t mind seeing this team start the next league match with the Didzy on the bench alongside NML and Collins starting
-
Two assists from his last two games.
what I like about him is that he has pace to burn but looks like a good footballer too. He has a great turn on him. Yesterday was his first 90 mins in mens football so I think it’s easy to forget how early on in his career he is.
think there is a lot more to come from him, Didzy, Barks, Collins to compliment NML and Sibley .. when this team start stretching their legs and go for it we could well be a formidable force in this league. As a point of context it was a approx 2 months ago that my son asked who we should support if there is no Derby County.
well done and thank you David Clowes and to Liam and his staff

Just think we need to give it a bit of time for the team to gel that’s all. We have only lost a friendly……10-15 games in things should look a lot clearer as to how things stand ??
Yeah I kind of feel the same .. was it the season with Billy Davies when we went up that for the first ten or so games we struggled to find wins? Then all of a sudden out a long winning streak together?
I guess you can make observations in the first 10-15 games by all means but experience tells us that it might well be too early in that period to predict or even guess with any real insight as to how the season will unfold for DCFC
glad that LR pontes out the he was disappointed that we were to happy to play nonsense side passes across the back line and didn’t show enough bravery to show what a good set of players we have by taking more risks and showing more attacking intent
hope Louis gets more games to show more than he did tonight

Good signing this.
Gives us cover in a couple of positions and is a very competitive and experienced player.
It definitely looks like one or two of Beilik, Bird and Knight will be on the move, which would be a shame, but probably needs to happen for both parties.
I agree it is a good signing. At 31 he still has plenty of life left and has played in some good teams.. and Bristol City ?
just hope Bird Stays, he looked ‘different’ against HB (I know it was a friendly but it was a friendly for everyone) would love JK to stay too

This time last year I thought Ipswich put together a decent side and they struggled for the first half of the season

Forsyth, Odoruh, McDonald, Stephens, Glover, Collins
GK, RB and a winger.
Looks about right
if McDonald can be our eustace and Collins can be our talisman things could get very interesting and mr clowes will certainly be asked to start the bounce

Are you all still banging on about this.
Give it a rest ffs, it's a football forum
It’s obviously something people feel strongly about
it’s had snidey ish comments but has mainly been respectful - ish
Feel free to introduce a new interesting point to distract us ??

Liked him at Luton and would have liked him a couple of years ago. If we sign him it reinforces that we have some good experience throughout the team. Would love him to be our new focal point A la Steve Howard
agree with posters that say that’s In an ideal world we would also sign a pacy forward too to complete the set

We spent to whole season being bullied (by EFL).
From September onwards, we were warded by... what at least appeared on the surface... buffoons.
We were permanently "Up against it", and whilst we all, to a man, woman and child, dared to dream, reality finally kicked each and every one of us viciously... if unsurprisingly... in the very pit of our stomachs. Not a season I ever want to see again, let alone be a part of.
And yet... a season we should all be immensely proud of. A season we should never forget, and never allow others to forget. A season to pass on to future generations as the epitome of Derby County lore.
"A great season"?
DAMN RIGHT IT WAS! ?
So many fans of other teams expressed sympathy last season and I explained to them that I was so proud of my club, my team, my manager and my fellow fans and that whatever happened it was an amazing season and unique experience … you should have seen their faces.. especially those that supported Liverpool, Man Utd etc who weren’t born there. Totally didn’t get it
Can’t wait for Oxford!

One poster made the comment
then one poster commented on that post
then lots of posters got upset by the second poster
but the few who agreed or supported the second poster are now being accused of going into raptures (wtf??)
lots of posters talking about it and at the same time moaning that it’s rumbling on and blaming those that support the second posters point
well done you
