Seeing shooting stars, saw one just over a week ago and two yesterday. About quarter past five in the morning standing outside having a cup of tea and a smoke, nice way to start the day.

I've just been sent a video by Ocado of my year in shopping with them.
Apparently I'm Nottinghamshire's #1 buyer of KP Spicy Chilli peanuts.
    Fame at last.?

Loved Tin Star initially, but the final series was a drag after 3/4 episodes we skipped to the denouement. Which was quite good but we didn’t miss the 6 episodes in the middle ?
Absolutely hooked on Americans .. Reagan era Russian sleeper agents living “normal” lives in the states. Wonderfully measured and balanced. Great acting and scripts. clever and immensely watchable.

Saturday could well give him a chance to shine. Looks like he may well be a starter if the first team and the U23s who train with the first team are sidelined.

So in layman's terms the whole exercise is another waste of time and money by the EFL AGAIN.

Phil Jones will be my barometer for this window.
I have a feeling that Rooney wants Jones and he may have spoken to him.  You could see Jones wanting to come and just play football.
As each day ticks by, if Jones signs for someone else, to me that would be a sign all is not well.
I appreciate why that may seem far fetched, but it has been reported in more than one news outlet, he had been favourite to sign for us with bookies for a while also.
The other clue to this window is the fact Rooney publicly says he wants his deals done quickly, just like Cocu did last year. As each day ticks by without any valid links, suggests all is not well.

I expect striker and center back free transfers in. Knight to Burnley for Hendrick type money.
Comes out later in January that BZG don't actually have any money to do the deal.

It would be a massive shame if this is true, as we've always done so well in the January market.

Leeds will be fine. They are already seven points clear of the bottom three.
They’ll have days like today, but they should stay up comfortably.
They are poor defensively, but their aggressive pressing style always gives them a chance.

They don’t have to be better than United. They have to be better than Brighton, Burnley, Fulham, WBA, and Sheff Utd and possibly a few others, which is hardly the challenge of a lifetime.
    They’ll be absolutely fine.

Overall I am 1.3% down year on year which given the pandemic I guess is ok all things considered. Just wish I hadn’t bailed out of Shell in a panic

I think you’re right. I admire a man who makes his own stand, his own opinion, and doesn’t follow cliche ridden social media momentum. On what I’ve seen so far he is a Top Man and a cracking example of a sporting player with serious leadership qualities.
