That's perhaps the most disappointing thing I've ever seen you post, Sage. This Week was a glorious political show on the BBC for many years, rating into the millions at midnight, until it was cancelled by the Beeb. Last night it was recreated to an extent, with the Chancellor of the Exchequer being grilled by the nation's most forensic interviewer for 20 minutes and then his responses being dissected by an expert panel including Michael Portillo. Real in-depth thoughtful useful and important TV. I learnt stuff.
It's so frustrating people just want to sit in their bubbles and denounce stuff when they don't know what it is. While the Twitter hate mob calls for it to be cancelled and boycotted because they're terrified they'll hear things that might challenge them and make them think.

Same here. Lots of the "motivationally challenged" are very concerned about all the latest covid developments with regards to their workplace, but a quick glance at their facebook page reveals no such paranoia in their personal time. I wish I could say it was a shock, but I could've hand picked the people who would behave this way.

Regarding Marriott, perhaps there was something in the deal with Peterborough that might have been being sidestepped creatively with the renewal terms, and Rentagob MacAnthony asked the EFL to intervene. Perhaps rather than wanting him to play more matches/score goals for the Rams, DCFC only wanted to try and retain some sell-on value, offering him ‘no play’ terms, but agreeing to buy him a top of the range set of Taylormade irons and to pay his Golf club membership.

His exclusion is understandable. You cannot continue to be so totally abject and embarrassing at taking free kicks for there not to be consequences. More one footed than Heather Mills.

I am swaying towards agreeing with you for frontline medical staff tbh - however I would be concerned about vaccination creep (flu etc), putting pressure on an already understaffed sector and it spreading to other industries resulting in mandatory vaccination via the backdoor.

Ignorant? I know she has won a number of trophies in the last few years, but I reckon my Mrs could win stuff with Chelsea Women. They are awash with cash to attract the best players.
Sexist? Possibly borderline, but I am full-on realist.  I reckon if I am lucky, very lucky, I might have 25 years left above ground, If there is a women managing a Premier League club in that time span I will eat the Queen's Hat Collection.
As for Jozwiak. Meh. Might come good this season, but he needs to significantly improve his decision making, and work harder on connecting with the ball properly when shooting/crossing. I think he must put too much polish on his boots. Cheap Polish polish probably.
