Yup, good luck Tom. Never shared the negativity of others towards him. Yeah, he made a mistake with the crash incident and he was inconsistent at times and a little hot headed at others.
But when he was good, he was good. And if you took the Top 5 of is thirty or so goals for Derby, they'd be up there with all the other greats.

It’s a pity but I can’t blame him. Opportunity knocked and he opened the door. I suspect he will develop in to a fine player and have a good career. It was going the right way with us. I liked him because he wasn’t the sort of wing back that didn’t automatically want to be a winger. He defended well, better than his attacking side in my view. (He lacked a bit of courage to drive forward especially given his useful pace) but unlike Cyrus Christie he could tackle and covered his man well.

Good luck Lee - you’re going to miss us young man

FWIW, I rate Buchanan overall and that’s a good move for him. But I think the players that the club consider to be their real assets were already wrapped up in contracts long before we got in this mess.
The ones the club are annoyed have gone are Gordon, Delap and the three that went to Man U. They’ve got Sibley, Knight, Cashin, Thompson and Bird wrapped up and they should be the ones we hopefully get a good recoup on.

Hot diggity damn. Best news for me was Cashin and Tommo re-signing; Cashin especially as he is going to be a top player.
Such a good feeling to be looking at on-pitch matters at long last

    Wednesday fan here.
Joe Wildsmith first broke into the first team at a very young age about 5/6 years ago when Kieran Westwood got injured.
It was the season we got to the playoff final and Joe was very impressive when he played for us, tipped by many to have a bright future in the game.
Since then we have had a whole host of managers, the side has got progressively worse and when he has played in recent seasons, he’s had a pretty woeful defence protecting his goal. As such his confidence has taken a bit of a battering and he has made the odd error.
That said, if he can get a run of games at Derby and you can get him anywhere near what he was like a few seasons ago, he’ll be a very capable a league 1 keeper for you this season.
Also he’s still relatively young for a goal keeper.
Best of luck to you with the takeover, really hope you can get things sorted and start to move forward as a club again.

Good man.... Was really supportive and helped keep Audrina dancing.
Didn't deserve the stick he got from the fans.
I'm disappointed that he has gone - I thought he was underrated and would have benefited from a decent GK coach, like Steele.
Ah well. The floodgates are now open....

Having slept on it, this whole debacle has come about because Q have ?ed  the whole process up.
Rooney did exceptionally well in my opinion by staying and seeing the season out. Many others would have walked once the 21 points were applied and most would have gone when we had to sell players and not replace them.
I also have come to the same conclusion as @angieram regarding the returning from holiday stance.
Good luck to him wherever he ends up, (personally think it’s gonna by Bruce getting the boot at WBA and that’s where he will end up).
It is in everyone’s best interest that this has happened, financially for us due to his wages and for his career as in my opinion he leaves with most Rams fans best wishes.

I just think he came back after his hols to be told by the administrators that he couldn't sign any players as we're still in administration and all his plans and hard work talking to players over the summer were blown away in that moment.
He probably decided there and then he didn't need another season of that sort of s*** and quit on the spot.
I don't blame him and all this talk of Dyche and tried and trusted League One managers is all just the same. Who is going to come here under the circumstances?
Some of you need a reality check.

I've kept quiet on this as thought best to see how things play out.
One thing a lot of people seem to be completely forgetting on this, is that contracts have been exchanged, conditional on the ground sale.
Therefore, unless it is the ground sale that stops the transaction from progressing, CK is on the hook.
Not sure why anyone thinks he would exchange contracts if he did not have the money to back it up.
Out of interest, to anyone that has spent the day abusing CK, how will you now react to him if the purchase goes ahead?

If the money is already in escrow, then the transfer has been made, has it not? It may simply be delayed due to additional security measures as outlined on numerous occasions, by numerous posters. Also, using escrow does require multiple transactions for each destination account - to escrow account and from escrow account. Rather than the wild accusations (not referring to you with this comment) we've seen this morning, how about we hold tight and see what happens? Either way, we'll know soon enough. After standing firm for 2 years + through all the trials and tribulations, mere days scarcely matter to my way of thinking.
