You're not very good at properly understanding financial matters are you?

If I'm interpreting what Nixon said correctly...
The 23 players of professional standing actually means we can only have 20 outfield players, whether we have 1, 2 or 3 GK's makes no difference once we have 20 outfield players.
So we could either use the 23rd slot on Allsop or another GK, but not on Jagielka or any of the others.
If we want any more in (as things stand) then we'll  need to move out an outfield player.
If Marshall goes then that would only free up a slot for another GK.

Only listened to end of part one but I don't see anything hugely wrong here.
Presume you're talking about the way Morris agrees to write off money to benefit Derby. I would say that should be applauded rather than pilloried.  Also goes to fill I  some of the blanks from what came out of the supporter meeting. Effectively that would need to be agreed and ratified by the EFL in order for it to go ahead but in reality it isn't illegal and isn't against the rules really.
The fact that they met someone who appears to be less than legit is also no real surprise. The meeting was set up by a known fixer and would appear to have not gone further than an initial meeting.
It's like selling your house...do you ask to see all the details, background, CRB checks of everyone that comes to look around?
    Absolute none story.

Alan Nixon has suggested we have to have 3 GK's as part of the 23.
If the 23 is actually 3 GK's + 20 outfield players, the signing of Allsop is not as baffling as first thought.

    Get Stretton starting.
If we’d sold him to a prem club everyone would be asking to loan him back! Like Delap and Gordon.
    Get him starting.

I think we're 3 signings away from where we want to be, as shown below:

CB, CF and a winger missing
Jagielka obviously fills the CB slot
Aluko would have been the winger, but as he's gone/going to Ipswich we'll be looking elsewhere (Grosicki?).
We were obviously after Baldock for the CF spot, but I hope we can get someone better in on loan - someone who is easily a starter, rather than competition for Kazim and Stretton. We can only dream of that player being Delap.
With Knight out for 2.5 months and Bielik until Christmas, short term cover (Carroll/Garner) would be ideal but not essential.
Those signings would leave Cashin as the only unproven 2nd choice player (but 4th choice CB)... I'd be more than happy with that.
That squad looks pretty decent to me - certainly midtable.
To put another perspective on things, we were potentially 6 players away from our 'first 11' vs Huddersfield.

Sure. Morrison, Stearman, Allsop & Davies all on 12 month contracts under £4.5k with Jags and Baldock to come vs Blackman, Butterfield, Anya, Marriott, Shackell MK II, Jozefzoon, Camara etc etc etc ?

This gets better…..making a profit on Joswiak and getting Grosiki in on a free capped until the end of the season and restricted wages meaning we don’t get stuck with a large contract. I’m loving our EFL imposed restrictions…..it’s making us so much better in the transfer market ???

Get real. It was a great ball in. At pace. The scorer is 6’5” and is running forward to jump. Correctly placed and executed, there is nothing anyone could do about it.

    Because ‘WeMbLeY’
He could be in the championship team of the year and it wouldn’t be enough for a lot of our fans.
some people need to realise we are a mid table championship team… he’s more than good enough for where we are at the minute.

I was right behind the goal and that cross was hit with so much pace and whip. Got to say how did they pick that Thomas lad up from non - league ? He caused problems all day. Good recruitment

The distance of travel and height and pace on the ball makes it perfectly possible to come and either collect or punch.

Arguably MOTM yesterday and people still bashing Roos, both on here and on Twitter. Why focus on the keeper who couldn't really do much and not the awful defending from set pieces?

No way would a top keeper have thrown himself into that crowd of incoming players at a whipped ball delivered at pace. You want the keeper to be about where Sarr is?

It was an excellent delivery. Roos would have looked a complete dummy if he had tried to reach it before their player. The defence left plenty to desire, but Roos certainly wasn't at fault in my opinion.

Sometimes you have to say its a just very good delivery. It was CKRs man but he may not have stopped the goal even if he had gone with him
We should have held a slightly higher line though.

I thought the South stand were excellent and was saddened by the attendance. I was fearful over a protest but I’m glad we supported Rooney and the boys.
We were better in the game than I thought we would be. Davies and Steerman are always going to be exposed by pace I was shocked that Huddersfield took so long to work it out.
Shinnie didn’t play well in the first half but improved in the second. Roos is changing my opinion of him more for the excellent punch than the saves as we know he can do that, also unlike the Huddersfield keeper is kicking is good.
I thought Watson was played in the wrong position he is a creator not a winger but I think that is because we have lots of central midfielders.
Bryne had a torrid time, they had a plan to isolate him and use high balls to Thomas who was excellent.
I don’t have an issue with Lawrence, he run his heart out and until Sibley came on was the only spark.
As for Jozwiak shoot lad even if you miss. He is a good player but needs an end product, he had an excellent opportunity to shoot in the match but didn’t and then his head went down.
Sibley was excellent when he came on and gave their defence hell, this in turn helped Bryne as Thomas had to do more defending.
Ebosele we have some player here, I thought he was all about speed but he showed that he has a good football brain and an excellent passing game. He will be a star in the future.
Forsyth, excellent, this guy would run through a wall for Derby.
The ref and the assistant ref in front of the East Stand. How many time did Forsyth get fouled in the second half when their defender was body checking him?  Also when Ebosele was free on the left he was clearly fouled consistently but all that was given was a throwing. Thought the ref was poor today.
Holmes, has he been on the weights looked a lot bigger and looked slower. His booing was warranted not because he is an ex player but because of how (from his own mouth) he engineered his move. The booing affected him, you could tell that when he blow a kiss to the east stand.
Last but not least Huddlesfield are going on about Covid, just look at the quality of players they had on the bench. Also he have a much better squad than last year they have recruited well. This is a game they thought they would win easily and we were better than they thought.
