EranioIsGod got a reaction from RamontheMoor in Sponsorship
I agree with you as someone who's had to move for work from a part of Wales where its all holiday homes now.
It's a moral dilemma. You don't get many ethical sponsors about these days unfortunately.
Over the past 20 years, we've had alcohol, plane makers, a local bank, an overinflated mobile phone contracts company, a takeaway deliverer, and a betting company.
It was refreshing to have NSPCC on the front last season but there's no revenue from that other than good will.
I'm sure Mr Clowes looked closely at all offers and thought this was the best option for the club.

EranioIsGod reacted to Gee SCREAMER !! in Sponsorship
Always find it odd that use of BTEC as an insult has turned up in a certain age group. In my life I've done a HND in Business, an MBA, CIPD , NVQ to level 5 and a couple of things way above that lot in the spectrum of education. The HND was more difficult and involved more elements useful in the world of work than any of them. The degree was a piece of piss in comparison.

Just hope Mr C is still gonna sort those solar panels for PP at least. Couple of wind turbines wouldn’t go amiss either. I mean it’s not like he’s been busy

It’s in order to wind people up on internet forums.

EranioIsGod reacted to Kernow in Josh Vickers - joined on a 3 year deal
The abilities of social media stalking tells me he got married on the 1st June.
So if he signed before that, then it shows we had some business done way back in May.
Makes the bed-wetting over no signings even funnier.

EranioIsGod reacted to FlyBritishMidland in Next manager for the sack?
Have we gone back in time a couple of months? Is today 1st April? First, Bournemouth sack their manager. The one who took over after a 9-0 defeat and the ex-manager had criticised the players and then went on to keep them up with games to spare. Then I read that the Community Shield is now being played on a Sunday night - further proof if ever it was needed that the football authorities really couldn’t care less about the fans. And then I come on here and read that Darren Moore has been sacked. The same Darren Moore that recorded their highest ever points total, dealt with the abhorrent racist abuse he received with calmness and dignity, and achieved promotion.
All 3 are absolute madness.

Anything to fit the narrative eh? I can’t wait for when we do sign some players and you start to find a new and exciting angle to slate the manager

EranioIsGod reacted to Ambitious in Manchester City Champions League
Genuinely grinds my gears all this b******* about spending. I mean we just going to ignore there was literally a team in the Champions League this season who had TWICE the wage bill of Man City?
Man City are a medium sized football club, one who were still turning up week in, week out in League One, while their inner city rivals won a treble. Their spending has only allowed them to compete financially at the top table - Man Utd are still the highest net spenders and have competed with them financially over the years.
A core of their team have also played in the EFL at some point in their career - Stones, Walker, Grealish, Mahrez, Phillips, Carson… so they’ve spent money on players, but not just on names. The recruitment has been outstanding.
It’s great to see a club with genuine fans, fans who didn’t start following a club because of their success, actually quite the opposite, get a taste of real success. How many people IF born in Manchester in the 80s/90s would not support the side winning every week for a side knocking about in the Football League? They’re the fans we should really think about and congratulate.

There sorted! I wish.
Nice few minutes break from work spoiled by yet another self-important idiot who thinks we care what he or she thinks squatting on our fans forum and rubbing our noses in where we find ourselves due to one narcissistic owner. It wont work but I feel better

EranioIsGod reacted to FlyBritishMidland in You're going to Wembley, but, You’re staying down😄
Really pleased for Darren Moore. Their fans is a completely different thing. Racist abuse and wanting him sacked despite getting the most points they’ve ever had in a season. They don’t deserve him.
