Looks like the combination of emails to MPs, Twitter messages etc. are already doing a job. Lots of MPs saying they want urgent meetings with Sports Minister and EFL..great stuff..keeping the pressure up is vital and spreading the message wider is also essential to make things happen. Also a few celebs Tweeting about Derby and seems like at least a part of the mainstream media is picking up the message.

Great stuff by everyone . All Derby fans are after the same outcome...end the vendetta..we have our punishment..let us get on with the football. The Petitions will look great with the thousands of signatures, again the wider the message spreads the more people will sign.

Do we have any agreed hashtags we could use to keep the messages linked and relevant?

Spamming the chairman and posting his phone number make us look like a bunch of morons on here, we're better than this.

We were better than this. We are now desperate. We deserve accurate media coverage. We deserve the truth. We deserve to be treated better by the EFL. As long as no one threatens/wishes harm or is abusive, I see no harm in making them uncomfortable in reflection on what they are doing. We, the fans, are the club.

I've hidden some posts as they purtain to showing Rick Parrys mobile number. Please don't share his contact details. Email I think is fine, less open to abuse.

Still, please engage brain before messaging him, everyone.

That’s right….protect the untouchable further. I am not condoning any sort of abuse…not in the same way this despot is condoning the emotional abuse of hundreds of thousands of football fans.

You reap what you sow….and this bamford has sown plenty. A few home truths directly applied would not be unjustified.

And some say don’t go to Boro game and make sure we are respectful ??? I say fill the away end and give Gibson non stop reminders of what he’s helping to happen …it’s a disgrace that another chairman is on the board and making outrageous claims against our club and think this is the hold up ….feel like we are not only getting kicked whilst we are down but also poo’d on from a great height ??? outrageous and my blood is literally boiling!!!! We are in big trouble I fear ?

Right now….I would not mind if we set fire to the whole of Middlesbrough. Not normally one for any type of retribution….but I’m not even sure I can watch football again.

By the same logic are we not then going to raise a small claim against Mel Morris as well?

In sentiment I agree….although I would still like to think he is still a fan that made some mistakes but was ultimately punished way to hard for them.

Also, the main reason for any action, no matter how spurious, is to highlight what part the EFL is playing in our plight.

  6. Since the EFL are ultimately responsible for this poo show, we could all bring small claims against them for the psychological and emotional damage their incompetent handling has caused us, as consumers. Only costs £35 and if they got a few hundred might have to explain themselves.
Or we go one further and crowdfund a lawyer prepared to take them to court, during which every aspect of their handling and decision making would have to be put on record, including conversations with Gibbo. Could well bring them down.

I think there is a lot of self-interest (the likes of Millwall happy to pick up a player for a knock down fee), probably quite a lot of indifference & clubs don't care until it happens to them. So much for the unity of the football family.

The EFL could ask that Middlesbrough & Wycombe drop their claim for the sake of unity in the pyramid system & perhaps setting an unwanted precedent. Both are involved in promotion battles so I cannot see how our 'misdemeanours' have affected them in the long-term. The EFL probably have no real authority to do this, but perhaps a veiled threat that any club involved in a spurious claim against other, could see any possible promotion spot withheld, or savour having to deal with two fixture lists.

Can't see this working but it's like dealing with two naughty children who won't take no for an answer.

But what you are missing is the fact the EFL is that straight faced angelic child at the back whispering encouragement to the thick bullies.

Absolutely. I can't understand why people are so annoyed by this, and the pitchforks are out for the EFL again. Yes, I understand the EFL are not popular, but this is just nonsense.

As is the nonsense….’yes we agreed with your accounts 4 years ago, but we’ve changed our mind, so are now going to punish you for every year you did what we said was fine….because it’s not now. And you can’t have Covid help. And it’s ok for clubs to sue each other over results.”
If you told me the EFL were planning on hiring Sepp Blatter as a consultant while making all teams in red start with and extra 10 points I wouldn’t dismiss it.
