Clarke is not average at all, he's a top quality CB and is easily one of the best in the league. He's certainly one of the best LCB's in the league. The reason we concede "stupid goals from crosses" is because of who he has to play next to. If his LB isn't closing down crosses or the fact both our keeper don't come out for crosses, we're always going to concede goals from crosses even if we had a prime Terry at the back.

We clearly see things differently. Knight, Bird and Sibley were all far better under cocu and personally i think he managed his youth contingent very well. All of them are going backwards under Rooney and nothing will change in that regard.
We need to sell whilst they still have some value and they need to leave before we irreversibly cripple their careers.

That's why we were on one win by December and looking absolutely ducked and heading to league 1 isn't it?  Before Rooney signed we were poo in Cocu's first season, him Martin and Bogle formed the basis of most of our quality going forward in 19/20 2 left and one became too unfit to play and we were woeful without them. 
By the end of Cocu's time the youngsters looked ruined and useless wouldn't give Cocu too much credit, wouldn't give Rooney much credit either but let's not forget how woeful we were under Cocu this season and how we were in a relegation fight before Rooney came in last season and added some creativity and gave the team a confidence boost. Bird only played well when he had an inform Rooney to link up with soon as he had to play with Knight and Shinnie and have more responsibility on the ball he looked alot worse.

He’s made mistakes but feel for him being left out he turned up for us when needed in the last few games, also the videos after the last game showed how much he wanted it

Good news for us imo, with his injury problems this season it can only benefit us with him having a decent break before preseason. People can criticise him but he played an important part in us staying up.

I wasn't trying to suggest you didn't think Mel was passionate, I was just disagreeing with your praise of Leicester and there owners. I agree with you other points.
I would actually rather have Mel (2014 Mel) as an owner than Leicester's, at least he actually wanted Derby specifically. Leicester could have been any club, they didn't care about there history etc. The main difference between the two is that they've been on the opposite ends of the luck spectrum. I think the long term aim of Leicester's owners are to improve Thai football and use Leicester as a way to funnel Thai players into the PL. I know I'm getting away from your point ? but it just really annoys me the constant fawning over them.

I'd say Mel is (or was) very passionate, the only difference is when Leicester cheated the gamble paid off and when we did it (if we actually did) we we're unlucky. Leicester have been incredibly lucky on several occasions in recent years. If they got relegated in 14/15 they would be struggling in the Championship with there FFP problems.
It annoys the amount of praise Leicester's owners get. They don't own them just because they're such good people, they're main reason for owning them is just to use them as a form of sportswashing for Thailand. Just like Abu Dhabi use Man City

Are we the ONLY club suffering because of the pandemic then ? Some real misjudgments seem to have been made well before any pandemic and would anyone be seriously interested in not only buying the club but being saddled with huge debts 
I think Mel has tried to help DCFC but mistakes have been made and asking for too much money for the club now will elongate our problems when we need to be moving forward

They didn't deny it either though... So definitely not distancing themselves from it.
Even a 'no, at the moment I'm not interested because I'm focusing on the really good job I'm currently doing'...would quickly be deemed a weak denial aimed at forcing a deal through in an underhand way.
