Can’t believe how quiet it is

See Liam Delaps going on loan to Stoke.  Do we get any of the 1.5-2 million loan fee they're likely getting seeing as it will be more than they signed him for.  Course we feckin don't.  Everything that's wrong in football.  Should be a 50% loan payment clause to the selling club for any player signed by a top flight club from an EFL side up to the playing  age of 23.
Nice to see the club that wrote off 40 million in covid losses and sold their debt and ground - 170 million- to another family member, making such signings as well.  Have the f****** given us back they cup they 'loaned' yet.

We have had plenty of chances to score against Charlton and again last night. I'm not buying this "parking the bus" crap.
Besides Collins (whose struggled since leaving Luton..) - I don't think any of those players are known goal scorers , it's no wonder we are struggling for them.
 
We need another option. Whether it's Cannon from Everton or more experience with goals in the locker.

Still need more attacking options IMO, shouldn't have to keep throwing Davies uptop

Imo i would get rid of Knight for the right price, even more so if he doesnt renew his contract. He is jack of all trades but a master of none type of player. Has alot of energy but little end product. If he is played out wide he rarely beats his man, and if he does he tends to smash it low & hard or over hits his cross. Not good enough on the ball to play CDM, not creative enough to play CAM so unless we play a 433 so he can play his best position which is an energetic box to box midfielder I dont see where he fits in to the current formations. In a 4231 he will do a job wherever but not as well as someone who plays there regularly.

We should go for someone like Tyler Walker.
Good goal scorer at this level, decent age and most likely surplus to requirements at Coventry, lives locally too...

My god what are people seeing in jack Stretton? Get rid and replace with literally any other player that's the same age and hope they have more potential 

Dane Scarlett at Tottenham looks a great prospect. Would like to see a young striker given a chance. 
Would dearly love that to be Stretton or Sibley but not sure they’re up to it.

But it will be top 6 wage budget definitely. Hourihane, Smith and McGoldrick could’ve signed for championship clubs for more money. Barkhuizen, Mendez-Laing, Collins are proven at this level and above. We will hopefully keep at least one of Bird Knight and Bielik, Thompson and Cashin are great talents. We’re a right back away from from having the best back 4 in the league. 
 
Yes we should be disappointed not finishing top 2, there are other clubs who can compete with us but top 6 should be our minimum aim, particularly when you realise that 6th place would be the second lowest league finish in our history.
No one is getting carried away but we have good reason to be confident.
