If he has been killed it’s a bit of a school boy error. I’d have gone into hiding a long time ago based upon previous incidents relating to the Russian leadership.
Could've faked his own death, I suppose.

Exactly. They aid venous return to the heart , the right atrium specifically.

Bigger socks are for larger feet, not for larger calves. The holes reduce pressure on the calf muscle and allow blood circulation.
In that case, why do people wear compression stockings to aid lower limb blood circulation?

Still had no nibbles on the Peter Kay tickets, after nearly 2 weeks on the listings at face value.

Balls.
I'm in Cyprus that day, I was hoping to ease myself through a few Keo's while half watching.
It will be midweek now, and I'll have to go.

Are you saying that your bank has refunded 100% of the 'scammed' money with no explanation whatsoever?
Yes.

Scammers.
I work for a small engineering company, and during the course of a 10 minute phone call this morning, they managed to help themselves to £70,000 of company money.
A years wages for our 3 most junior employees, in other words.
When this happened, the firm was told an investigation would take place, and a resolution would take 10 working days.
20k was returned almost immediately, due to the transaction being blocked, but the rest would be subject to investigation.
No such investigation has taken place, as far as we can tell, not one witness statement obtained, no contact from anyone in authority, yet today the missing amount has landed back in the bank, without forewarning of any sort.
Not one email, call or contact of any sort to explain the situation.
Crime really does pay, if you're smart enough.

Poacher turned gamekeeper.
I hope his first priority is making it harder for clubs to have their academy picked apart by vultures in times of trouble.

Me and Mrs Sagan off to see him at London's Lyric Theatre. Everything's better in the South! 😉
Smaller venue the better when it comes to comedy, I find.
He's doing quite a few shows at the Lyric, I noticed. I'd much prefer to see him at a theatre, but beggars can't be choosers.
A couple of weeks ago, one of his stand ups was on TV.
If I can find the link, I'll post it.

I was going to suggest that but looking into it a bit I don’t know if it will be any cheaper.
Disregarding the Northampton game and pricing the remaining games in the category that I think they will be in + booking fees I estimate will come to £229, assuming the half season ticket price is half the full price at £234 that’s £463.
So not worth individually booking tickets to save a fiver, plus maybe could sell the Northampton ticket to someone you know.
As regards the half season ticket I think they are usually issued after Christmas which will mean 11 matches included so could affect the price.
Best thing is to speak to someone in the ticket office but at least this gives you some options.
One added bonus to a half season ticket, which you haven't factored in.
Priority access to play off finals tickets!
The half season ticket is normally available the last thirteen games onwards, I had one back in the day, and it started well before Xmas.

Thanks for the replies👍. I’ll give the ticket office a call to see if there is any pro-rata concession, especially as I can evidence that I’ve paid for three games already. If not, at this point, it’s going to be more expensive to buy a season ticket than pay per game, taking into account the one definite game I’m going to miss.
Pay per game now, and get a half season ticket when they're released.

I wish he'd stop banging it on away corners.
I always think the balls gone flat, or the corner taker has an exocet missile for a leg.

Answering you and @Rev together, why can't Rooney play RWB as well as RB then we don't need to sign anyone and he gets some game time?
Eventually we have to give someone from below a proper run.
Both Rooney and Thompson deserve that on today's showing.

Seems more red tape than usual for young Irish players to cross over due to brexit. Maybe the reason why none have been linked given the time scale of his employment start date.
The immigration rules between UK and Eire are unaffected by Brexit, so I'm not sure that's the case.

Wasn't he good today to say he's had so little game time?
Bearing in mind he's not been playing at all with under 21s yet this season. There's no wonder he was cramping up.
It'll be a pleasure to watch his development.
In 8 weeks time, when he finally gets another chance.

Seeing as it's Brighton involved, I'd tell them to save their money, we only want £1m for him, not £3m.
In return for a 50% sell on clause, for when Chelsea come shopping next year!

Warne seems very much to be in a traditional “manager” role where he, along with a couple of others (one of whom is his own right-hand man), are effectively running the whole football club. I’ve always been in favour of a director of football model and a clear identity running through the club that means changing managers won’t have a seismic effect on playing style, recruitment style, etc.
I also don’t think I’ll ever be convinced Stephen Pearce should be anywhere near the club, though it doesn’t wind me up as much as it does others.
I can’t really criticise the appointment of Warne. I thought it was a bold but good decision at the time. Though I’m certainly having serious doubts about him now. Even if he turns it around and we go up, I think there’s very little chance we end up pushing for the Premier League with him in charge - he just doesn’t seem to have the tactical nous and seems to struggle with pressure.
You might question this, but I think his background as a commercial pilot probably influences his decision making more than his business background.
Being a commercial pilot is one of the most demanding careers to undertake, massive responsibility at all times, and a very presciptive working environment, double checklists for every action, and always a co-pilot backing and checking every single action.
I don't imagine he'd have thrown so much resource into his ownership without having consulted with an experienced, trusted hand to guide him, so maybe he's got a de-facto DOF that we're simply unaware of?
