Those amongst the fan base who feel so strongly about Warne, get together and stage a protest. Make some banners. Do a walkout during the match. Drop some flyers around pride park. Arrange a plane with a banner to fly over Pride Park. Do something with your frustrations that amounts to more than the same threads popping up over and over that won’t actually change anything.

Personally, I'd rather people vent their frustration at the manager on here than directly protest at the ground.

I get that position. On the flip side, he had the minerals to turn up and face folks at the forum, and to stick it out when thousands were chanting for him to go.

Also, a man as shrewd, experienced an successful as David Clowes reckons he's competent.

Where I come out on this is he should have a clean slate.

He also had the minerals to turn up at a previous forum, and assure us that every single pie sold would help us clear P&S rules, whilst he knew the owner had already sold the stadium to himself.

Having been Twitter clean for over a month now, I haven't seen any of the tweets regarding the forum, only glanced at those posted on this forum.

I think it's fair to say that once the footage does come out, any opinions that have already expressed on what has and hasn't been said in this thread will remain unchanged.

Reason being, opinions have been formed and fully entrenched now where only a decent run of results will soften or run of bad results flip.

It's already been seen in this thread with accusations back and fourth over comments taken out of context, misquoted and general bickering back and fourth.

Reason being, the content being shared will have the authors own half full or half empty slant on things.

I will follow @Owen87ITK great advice, wait, watch it myself and probably not engage in this particular topic as it would be a monumental waste of time.

Sooner Saturday rolls around and we have a game of football to discuss the better, I will be watching from Sunny Spain sipping on a Pina Colada, win or lose I will not be logging on here 😂

    Half fan!

True, half the things tweeted were not actually said and a lot of the rest was tweeted without context which is very misleading.  Why people would choose to analyse vague tweeted reports is beyond me when the whole thing will be aired today.

Probably best to go back to covering these events live, it would save all this aggro.

Tbh, I think it's more simple than that. He saw someone with an excellent track record of getting out of League One and hired him. I reckon he'd have done that regardless of playing style.

Do you think he'd have hired Warne regardless then, even if he thought personally he's a cnut?

If that was the case, he'd have hired Colin, who'd have jumped at a season long contract.

Flew back from Corfu a couple of weeks ago (aforementioned cruise - which was awesome). First and last time I think I'll go through that airport. 45 minutes queuing outside in the heat, then another 45 minutes inside, just to check in the suitcases. Then 25 minutes in a stairwell at boarding, waiting for a bus to do a 200 yd u-turn to drop us at the plane. Was told by someone this is pretty much business as usual there.

It's horrendous. Mondays and Thursdays the worst days.

The fans wouldn't have backed it because we would be sitting at the bottom of the league. Derby county in League one should be at the top competing for promotion. Ultimately it's not about older players for the short term or buying young players for the long term. You need both. It's the blend of youth and experience that makes a well balanced team.

Poor fans probably wouldn't have backed it.

The sort who think Derby should automatically be right up the top of the league, regardless of the circumstances.
