Isn't a credit union a not for profit organisation?
What would RamsTrust then gain for giving referrals to DCB?
Credit Unions distribute the interest made on loans to its members who own savings accounts with them.
The more they loan, the more their members receive in dividends.

Expecting a 'big' fixture from this supposedly random draw.
Maybe Sheff Weds.
Also expect us to be paired with a potential giant killer in the cup.
Sheffield Wednesday will be last game of the season ?

Some interesting quotes in this from Andrew Hosking. Namely that Kirchner did pay the wages:
Quantuma insists it did nothing wrong in making Kirchner the preferred bidder.
“He was matching exactly what the EFL wanted and indicated he would fund — and he did — the wages,” Hosking says
And that a secondary points deduction is possibly on the cards
“It would be naive of me to not ensure we’ve got funding available and assuage the EFL’s concerns, but that’s very much a secondary protection strategy. The main strategy is to get the club sold and sold as quickly as possible.
“Quite what the terms will be, we’ll have to wait and see. Could there be negative points? When do I think it will happen? I genuinely don’t know.”

No disrespect to the lad, but there was no way he would have been left on the shelf at the end of the season.
Hia Agents pushed this move through, what was the risk of waiting till the end of the season?
For any player, particularly a winger who draws in fouls, there's the risk of an injury. It's a short career and he's not on much money ATM, I can see why you'd want to secure your future.

Mel taking it to court because he knows either:
A. He'll win
B. He'll lose but take the EFL down with him.

Wages unpaid - no they haven't. Are you Steve Gibson?
They were a few days late one year ago and that was the only month they were late.
Their December 2020 wage wasn't paid until the 25th January. They also deferred their wages in April 2020. There is now further talk of a wage deferral.
How many days late would you be happy with your Christmas wages being? And if there was an opportunity of wages paid on time, with a more secure longer term contract, would you take it?

None of our players, coaching staff, or Wayne Rooney owe Derby County anything. They've had months where wages have gone unpaid, have had broken promises of squad reinforcements, yet in those circumstances they still go out there on a Saturday and have given us some of the most enjoyable football. Football which is played with passion and commitment, and that's all we can ask for.
If Rooney, Rosenior, or any of our players get a better offer, which can secure or further their career – then good luck to them. They have themselves to look after, but have looked after our club when we needed it.

Front and centre on the Daily Mail Sport page right now with this.

Couhig clearly doesn't understand the administration process, yet Dawes has just allowed him to waffle on without correction or challenging. Did Dawes not do any research before doing this interview?

So we let Marshall and Baldock go, presumably assuming that the wages provided by them both would be enough for the EFL to allow us to re-sign Jagielka. But that wasn't the case.
So even if we sell players, such as Sibley, there's absolutely no guarantee that the EFL will allow us to sign anyone else. Meaning by selling players we run the risk of having insufficient first team players.
So to summarise:
- We can't sign players without demonstrating we can finance the season
- We cannot finance the season without selling players
- And there is no guarantee that if we sold those players that the EFL would be satisfied and would relax our restrictions
Essentially the EFL want to strip our club bare of any assets, making it a League One club which will never be worth our debts

Not sure if anyone spotted this tweet from Andy Derbyshire the other day when asked about possible Mr Kirchner backers. Rooney has a connection to DC United as well!!
It seems Andy hasn't quite caught up that Westlake Capital are nothing to do with DC United and sold their stake back in 2016.

These meetings are usually to vote on the proposal put forward by Administrators, so I'm presuming the final offer will be put to the bidders and we'll see the preferred bidders selected soon.

Geesh in that bbc article our old friend Mr Rush is mentioned....
"Two of the six potential buyers are "substantial entities" who were previously in touch with Morris, who had been looking to sell the club since 2019, with four new interested parties.
The six are understood to include former Derby County owner Andy Appleby and chief executive Sam Rush, who are both part of the 366 Group"
366 Group Ltd changed their company name back in August to "General Sports Europe". The return of GSE?

Yep. Any profit they make is distributed to their members in dividends.
