See above. Had two good wins has Mel as a businessman. Well done him. Royally ducked up his third effort. Tough luck. With investments some you win, some you lose. No need for him with his wealth though to bring the whole club to its knees.

If he doesn’t fund us we’re finished, simples. 

We'd go into administration and -12 points , any potential new owner would be able to buy US debt free (but would need to buy / rent PP from uncle Mel).... It might be the only way out of this mess 

If it isn't behind a paywall it isn't worth reading is a good rule-of-thumb. I spend more on news than I ever did when it was physically printed. 
The only exception being the Financial Times, which bizarrely for a financial paper has become as left as the Guardian, severely disappointing as a long term subscriber so that got canned as effectively unreadable. Balance and giving space for journalists in both sides of an argument is what I want to read, not propaganda, left or right.

If we haven’t breached (which would be a great outcome for us) it will mean we’ve had to endure 2 years of absolute dross for nothing. The club has been pushed to the brink of oblivion because of an accountancy method. I’ve never been more disinterested with football than I am now, some clubs signing players for £100m+, players earning £50m a year yet all we want is a couple more frees to bolster our threadbare squad, football is dead.

I’d guess we were mainly looking at Baldock to play off CKR - if big Col is out of the team then we need to be looking at a different type of striker.
I’m sure our thoroughly professional and well-prepared recruitment team has a long list of alternatives to choose from…..

90% of our problems aren't down to the manager. I'm not saying he is a great or even good manager, but we have other priorities at the minute.
