The replies being sent out via email are just embarrassing- it’s like they send a standard response without reading the content. It’s becoming frustrating beyond belief. There will come a time soon when I give up or go the way of those Sheff Weds fans.

Do these clubs answer emails from the fans and have a phone line you can afford to ring to discuss problems and concerns though?

The policy of shutting our ticket office isn’t working very well is it. Disenfranchising a large section of the fan base and causing disruption, annoyance and anger amongst your loyal supporters simply isn’t a good business decision.
Interesting that you cite Swansea as another in the championship with no ticket office open - another club in financial trouble by the looks of things?

really? I think Mel gets off quite lightly simply cos he’s a fan/local.

Think of the dog’s abuse GSE got for running the club sensibly and compare that to what Mel ISN’T getting for putting the club on it’s knees!

Let's not forget the whole point of this forum is about providing a canvas for our opinions - we all have our own experiences, we all have our own lives, we're all different and this all results in all having our own opinions.
So the OP was making his own opinion on how things look, you've responded with your opinion - they differ.  What I always have issue with (and yes, this is my opinion hence a strong desire to comment on the post) is that because someone disagrees, why should this then elicit a more personal attack from them - I don't think that's right or fair,  especially where retorts are clearly personal and don't look at the big picture: it's not about MEplc.
    To elaborate:
Comment: Where are these minutes from the meeting? After they were submitted back to the club we haven't heard a single thing. See above comments about stupid requests
I thought this was a reasonable statement personally - again my opinion. Why the duck hold the meeting with a select few but then hobble everyone so no-one can say anything.  Absolutely pointless, so to question it is valid I think and is in no way stupid.
Comment: It's an absolute shambles. In your opinion
Nowt wrong with this - perfect response where you clearly disagree although obviously felt strongly enough to call it out BUT...
Comment: I've seen people respond to this charge be saying the EFL have it in for us. Yes they do
Is your opinion that they do have it in for us, perhaps no different to calling out the "absolute shambles" statement, i.e. an opinion?
Comment: No ticket office all tickets available online
Maybe so but does it work well? Is everyone able to afford the time, or have the technical skills to do this? Factually I think this is no hence the statement was fair
Comment: no mascots, really you are whining about this!!!!
It's important to some, if not you and is a statement of fact.  All teams have mascots so it's factually just one more thing the club is curtailing which will upset one element of the fanbase.
Comment: no roadrider so you can't organise your own transport
As I said at the top, big picture here.  Kids? Non-drivers? Disabled? Drivers who aren't confident to travel on their own? Pretty insular I'd suggest....obviously in my opinion!
Comment: no communication see multiple comments above I assume when you play poker you show all the other players your hand
I don't think anyone's asking Mel to tell us everything, none of us expect that, maybe just some of what he told a select few and then told them to shut up. Or maybe just a statement of empathy and reassurance to long suffering fans. I don't see that as unfair.
Comment: I love this club. But right now I hate everything that it has become. There is always a team the other end of the A52 you can support
A bit flippant? Why would someone support the dogs who's just declared their love of the club. When you add up everything we are seeing, and being told (or not as the case may be) I'd suggest a lot of us (me included) have a lot to hate about what the club is seemingly doing right now.  Are you telling me that you're happy with where we are and everything you're seeing? If so, I take my hat off to you.  We can only cast an opinion based on what we see - constant embargoes, missed payments, no communication or explanation - nothing that supports a view of positivism about how the club is being run.
Apologies I've rambled - I usually just smile at such posts, and leave it to other, more thick skinned members to comment, but I guess this time I felt like diving in.  Maybe just getting a speeding ticket has put me in that frame of mind!

Should be at least a retrospective red card for moving the arm towards the ball and stopping a goal scoring opportunity.

That's true,  but personally, I think Sibley is currently the  best option to play the central role behind the striker, he is most effective there, certainly not liking Lawrence central with coming to collect of the toes of the CH's, not sure how that gets him involved where he can hurt the opposition, as I've said before, I think he's better coming in from the left where he can drive to the centre, win free kicks or shoot. If WR wants someone on the ball deep that can actually pass and create, then on the bits we've seen, play Morrison there from the start alongside either Bird or Shinnie.
We need Lawrence and Sibley as a minimum to be supporting the lone striker, hopefully with Buchanan and Byrne/Festy supporting with width.
Writing this I'm starting to think the Terry Venables Christmas tree formation might be the compromise. Morrison in middle of Shinnie and Bird (or Watson replacing either) and Lawrence and Sibley in from but narrower so leaving space for attacking fullbacks

I think Allsop could have come out faster and closed Sharpe down.  He made no attempt to save,  add to that his part in the first goal I don't know why Rooney says "We have 3 top class keepers"

That's why earlier I said it is a major bug bear of mine, just because the top top teams with the very best players in the world can execute it to stretch the game and keep possession,  it doesn't mean Championship (or even Prem IMO) should attempt it.
Nothing good ever comes from passing back to the GK....
To which point someone will no doubt post a link to a keeper with an assist due to a 40 yard pass..... but that is so rare it is spoken about and splashed all over the media. Every pass inherently has risk to it, bobbly pitch, under-hit, over-hit, mis-directed or miscontrol, so why do it with a player that typically is the poorest on the pitch with the ball at their feet in the most dangerous area of the pitch that anything other than perfection can be dangerous, a goal at worst or turning over possession at best is a typical result?
I'm not saying don't ever pass to the keeper, just not when there is any form if danger like an opposition player within 20yrds.
Final thought, do you ever encourage our players to press the opposition deep in their half? If so, why? Is it because we may gain an advantage in the best area of the pitch?

As @Ellafellasaid earlier, if between Stearman, Allsop and, to a lesser extent, Mcdonald had read the situation then there was no need to pass back at all, eliminating the risk.
As I said, IMO I don't like outfield players passing the ball to GK's instinctively because there are risks, as there is with every pass anywhere on the pitch, that when something does go wrong it leads to danger due to the fact it is the last line of defence. Simple risk mitigation.
I also said I blame the modern coaching for this and not McDonald.
No matter what level of football I played at in my younger days, I would never ever consider any GK as being better with the ball at his feet than myself, so why would I want to pass it to him?

Exactly, if it stated that we had breached P&S with our new accounts and we were in discussion over a punishment then it would make sense. This is dancing on the graves of old news - which makes me think that Percy is just looking to get something out there before the Derby and Forest game to give his side a sporting advantage.

Exactly this. There's a lot on here saying, 'I'd take 6 points' or 'I'd take 3 points' etc. Tragic that a large percentage of the fanbase would simply allow this to happen without knowing the facts of the case because they don't want to think about it anymore. Boo Hoo. This is and should be a non negotiable punishment based on facts and not something open to subjective negotiation on any part. Until we know exactly what has been breached (if anything) we shouldn't accept any 'punishment' from this shitshower of an organisation and fight on/back relentlessly.

I don't get to what it relates?
This quote mentions agreeing a punishment but for what and why?! No mention of what the P&S might be.
"Under pressure from rival Championship clubs, the EFL is pushing for Derby to be punished and it is understood that a deduction of 12 points – nine points plus a suspended three points – and an imposed business plan has been discussed, but is yet to be agreed."
"The question now is whether Mel Morris, the Derby owner, reluctantly accepts the EFL’s proposed punishment or, as expected, challenges it. Derby have always maintained they did not seek any competitive advantage with their amortisation policy."
It's talking about the amortisation - they cannot do us for that again surely. They could only do us for the restated P&S being over limits?

Kick it out for a throw in or a corner if a bit iffy. Roos spends too long clearing the ball. I hope Allsop does not try the same idea.

…for “modern game” read “current fashion”. It may change very soon. I was coached as a player in the “% game” meaning risk management which means the ball goes into row z.

My take is that Allsop did Kornell no favours and made the pass look worse than it was. Had he committed 100% he would have got to that ball before Sharp.

Without knowing specifics, the demographic of your friendship group etc but I'm not surprised at that stat as since people have been double jabbed there's been the Delta variant and virtually no restrictions on socialising and mixing with family members. I believe there's noticeably less concern about personal space when out and about, cinema, sporting events open etc.
Hopefully, those that have had it after being vaccinated have had milder symptoms in line with the claims.
But as you say in your last comment, it is difficult to know what to believe and what to take with a pinch of salt, it is a novel situation for any government to deal with on this scale and having to adapt and learn as they go trying to balance health and well being with the economic issues has no doubt caused policy changes and conflicting approaches at differing times over the last 18 months.

I was under the impression from Whitty's presser a couple of months ago that if you are vaccinated you are less likely to not only catch the virus, but less likely to pass it on (presumably because it is in your system for less time and/or is somehow weakened due to the vaccine), in which case you reduce the risk to others, especially the vulnerable.
