Sorry but this is taking the piss. Dobbin was literally rugby tackled 5 minutes ago and nothing given. Their player has a foot go near him and they get a penalty.

I don't think that's quite what they're saying.  They're saying they saw evidence of multiple sources of finance, but that was fine. I suspect a lot of bids would involve multiple sources, e.g. it's quite possible that Clowes bid involved some of his personal money, some from other family members, some from Clowes Development Ltd, possibly even some financing from somewhere etc.  Multiple sources probably isn't unusual, what matters is you can prove that you legally have access to that money, which presumably Kirchner did at the time.
The weird bit is the EFL claiming they withdrew approval at any relevant point.  From what I remember, the timeline was basically we/Quantuma asked for the money a bunch of times, and eventually Kirchner withdrew from the process when it became clear he couldn't produce it.  If the EFL had withdrawn approval at any point before that, the entire process would have stopped dead and we'd have known about it.  The EFL would have absolutely used that as a reason to criticise Quantuma in public again.  But I don't remember it happening.
So it sounds to me like the EFL are trying to claim that they were the sensible ones and stepped in to stop the takeover, when in actual fact they probably withdrew approval after Kirchner had already dropped out.  So textbook bolting the door after the horse has bolted, and typical of the EFL trying to save face when they've screwed up publicly again.

Not here to gloat, that was prob our toughest game this season and while parts were scrappy, I thought it was an even contest.
Your player who got your 2nd, that was an outstanding finish and the best bit of skill in the game.
I felt your No. 6 was your MOTM. In the 2nd half, he got in the way of all of our attacks before your first goal.
Safe journey home guys, I hope the drive back isn't too bad for you and good luck for the rest of the season!

Wednesday fan in peace. Tough times for us both, 2 great clubs who’s fans deserve better than what we are getting at the minute. Hope you guys join us in the top 2 come end of the season. On current form, there’s no doubt about it. Have great memories of the baseball ground. That epic 3-3 fa cup game in 1993 is the best away game I’ve been to. Up the owls & rams ?

So after Port Vale every one on top of world - autos here we come - now we lose 2-0 to a strong West Ham performance, Max is injured (may be less likely to attract bids in summer), Dobbs isnt recalled, we keep our young stars for now, loan some in (one in particular who looks very promising) and suddenly we are one step away from armageddon with many fans??
Come on cheer up. We have our club. We are on the up. We're nicely poised. We have @B4ev6isFinal push needs us to back the team and make a difference.

Best of luck. It's a horrible position to be in for any supporter. What we went through literally nearly broke some on here, whilst many so called supporters of "certain" other clubs mocked, gloated and sang for our demise. We can therefore very much empathise with how you feel. Really, really hope you come through it.

Seeing on social media that there are a few of you buying tickets to come and show your support for my local side, Scunthorpe United-who are getting ran into the ground by an incompetent owner- on Saturday. We are drinking in the last chance saloon with a winding up order and no money left in the pot to pay any wages.
Thank you chaps, it’s much appreciated by our supporters.

We signed six players, Collins, Smith, McGoldrick, Mendez-Laing, Hourihane and Chester, anyone of which would probably get into any other team in this league.
We’ve managed to keep Knight, Bird, Cashin,  Sibley, Davies, Thompson, Stearman and Forsyth.
We’ve signed youngsters Oduroh, Rooney plus Dobbin, Osula and Roberts on loan.
We signed three keepers including Wildsmith who is my player of the season.
Considering that just a few months back we were on the verge of handing the club to Kirchner, had five players under contract and no pre season the performances so far are to quote a well known ex manager of this famous football club “nothing short of remarkable”.

Happy New Year to all Ramsfans and……………………Thank you David Clowes.

When Kirchner's money never materialised, we feared for the future of our club. Thanks to DC, we have finished the year not only still in business, but 5th in the league.
That would have been impossible to hope for in those dark days of early June.
