    Actually I would argue reg 95 is itself contrary to the Arbitration Act Section 1
     "General principles.
    The provisions of this Part are founded on the following principles, and shall be construed accordingly—
    (a)the object of arbitration is to obtain the fair resolution of disputes by an impartial tribunal without unnecessary delay or expense;
    (b)the parties should be free to agree how their disputes are resolved, subject only to such safeguards as are necessary in the public interest;
    (c)in matters governed by this Part the court should not intervene except as provided by this Part."
    Maybe EFL could explain how threatening to throw DCFC out of EFL if they do not go down arbitration route is allowing them to be free to agree how to resolve their dispute.

    Not just that.  If Rooney is to leave DCFC it isn't going to be to go to Preston North End.

    No disrespect intended to Preston, but that just won't be the case.

    So reporters on your side are reporting the result of a confidential agreement and saying Gibson won! Now there's a surprise.
    I'd still rather see forest go up than any team owned by that permed ?

    It’s Middlesbrough. Most of them won’t have a clue who their real dads are so they’ve no hope of pinning down a grandad….

    I appreciate this is a joke, but the Bamford nearly took us to the wall. He's forced the sale of our brightest stars and the reason Ebosele and Lawrence could leave for free. And could be the man who forces us down to the third tier.
    Buy nothing. The bloke is a Bamford

    I bet it was Gibson's plan all along to settle it after the transfer window. He knew he didn't have a case and wouldn't win in court but knew we wouldn't be able to sign anyone in January. Banker

    Gibson got what he wanted in January by keeping us in an embargo and the club losing assets and potentially a lot of money with the youth players that have gone for very little.
    Relegation is still our most likely outcome which I think is what the EFL really want too. Whilst we have had the punishment, they want to make sure it’s brings the right outcome for them.

    WE COULD FINALLY ACHIEVE SURVIVAL FORM on WEDNESDAY EVENING:
    If Reading lose to Bristol on Wednesday night, then their predicted end-of-season points tally (based on season-to-date form) will drop from 40 to 39 points, which equals Derby's.
    This means that as of tomorrow night, for the first time, Derby's season-to-date form could be survival form, with us overtaking Reading (on goal difference)!

    There was a Boro-related thread on Twitter earlier (can’t manage to find it now) admiring our fight back but the general consensus was that we “escape” punishment if we don’t go down.
    Are some fans really so blinkered? Our punishment was the deduction, otherwise why issue it? Add to that the embargoes, loss of players, all the uncertainties and mental torment, I think it’s fair to say we have been punished more than fairly, several times over.
    I think it’s going to remain the case with a lot of fans that there will be no justice until it’s certain we leave the Championship out of the wrong end.

    Ram@Lincoln got a reaction from Red Ram in Tom Glick has left The Panthers- is he part of the Appleby group?
    I don't mind the odd Connor Sammon's when the likes of Martin, Ward, Forsyth and Eustace being given new life too after getting left to rot by former clubs and not forgetting the Scottish scouting trips to get Bryson and Russell. There isn't any club that'll have 100% success rates, on the large, Clough had a very good record for signing players who would last the length of time, and if they didn't they were cheap enough to flog on without too much effort. I'd much rather that the likes of Camara, Blackman, Anya etc being bought for big money on big wages, barely playing and leaving us for free/being paid to leave.

    Same with me. I sent another e-mail (after the 10 working days in which he was supposed to reply) saying how disappointed I was not to get a reply.  I highlighted that our problems were now national news and have implications for football wider than the Derby area (he is the Crewe MP).

    Ram@Lincoln got a reaction from i-Ram in Care about DCFC - how to email your MP
    I emailed my own MP circa three weeks ago and haven't heard a peep from them. Highly disappointing not to even get a "Thanks for your contact, we wish you all the best, kind regards. MP". Looking at his general voting record, he's as blue as they come. Votes to keep his cushy job with benefits and to tax us all to death.

    This just shows the ducking us arround with our ability to offer contracts is a far bigger punishment than the points, and it doesn't get decided by a DC the EFL just seems apply their rules in whatever fashion they decide. In our case the didn't like the DC's judgement so decided to duck us.
