    Season tickets.
Nope. Though some nice scotch at the kiosks wouldn't go amiss. The yanks can't do whisky properly.
Your point on sponsorship was interesting... wonder if 32Red have carried over for a year? Seem to remember there being mention of next season's kit being sorted, and would anticipate that, while one doesn't necessarily hinge on another, the sponsorship would be part of this for approval?

The only silver lining for me is I might get to more games than I have for a long time
As someone who lives between Forest Green and Cheltenham Town
Factor in Bristol Rovers, Oxford, pretty handy. Shrewsbury, Exeter and Wycombe a bit further but not a bad trip
    Possibly Swindon too
I am aiming for 5/6 but a bit worried reading this thread about what is being said about allocations and small grounds

I see myself as a good two footed player. Adept with both feet, unfortunately they both left feet. Put me down as Claude Davis reincarnated.

I see myself as an older Tom Huddlestone with the passing of Bradley Johnson.
I'm 6ft 4" so I have an advantage in aerial duels which is sadly compromised by my fear of minor injuries.
Ideal for defending opposition free kicks on the edge of the box I come with alarmingly low levels of enthusiasm for putting my body on the line.

I always like the threads where forum members tell us how they got to be Derby fans. Have enjoyed following the Sport Bible thread on Twitter this week so thought we could waste some time with it on here as we're waiting (again). Added a couple as have taken out Your team which is a bit obvious
    What is your...

    - Dad’s Team
    - Mum’s Team
    - Everyone at your school's Team
    - Your local Team now
    - Your kids Team(s)

Not too had today so far, Sibley looking lively!

All I really hope for today is that we put in a semi decent performance even if we lose.
And mainly I want Middlesbrough to either draw/lose so they finish in 7th and only just miss the playoffs! The closer the better, surely they will then sue that little kid who ran on the pitch as he clearly cost them promotion and gate receipts and a spot in the premier league!

There’s so much in a statement like that. Having seen the ticker tape head line it fills you with pride.
All those thoughts of loyalty, a shared experience that has undoubtedly been there come to the fore.
A desire for that huge adrenaline high you get from working with guys who you know work for you, all with a common goal. It’s called a team and it’s magical. We all experience it (if we are lucky) at some point in our lives. There isn’t much that can touch it. I feel great just reading about it. It cements the truth of what we have seen in the ground as the season unfolded.
Reality does kick in though. People have hopes dreams aspirations .. So maybe 4 grand a week sounds good to most of us but if you get offered twice that and a chance at the big time where world names play ? It all depends what you are .. At 60 something I can see more joy, sense and satisfaction by sticking with it .. As a young man full of power and dreams, the nobility and joy of sticking around wouldn’t be anything like as strong.
.. If you go,  I say good luck, and thanks for the memories.
If you stay … you’ve just earned your first chip in the legend stakes .. You might have been a stat in the employees book but by not walking away,  generations might just remember and revere you long after you are gone. I won’t forget this season or this team. Special moment in my sporting life.

No I don’t. MOTM awards are much more short term and much more based on immediate impact. The PotS should be based on consistency and overall quality of their play.

The Rotherham Friday night was great, Beating Everton and Chelsea in the league cup was great, Beating your Liverpools, Arsenals, Man Untds, Tottenhams, Leeds were great, Beating Real Madrid, Benfica was great, I've been there since 1966, Seen the glory and the heart ache, Tears on many occasion, Travelling away North, South, East and West was something that I savour, One of the sweetest moments among many many others...was beating the red dogs 4-1 when we were crap and 2-1 and only had 10 men, I'll be there Saturday with 1000s of others, Maybe a tear or 2 who knows, But one things for sure...I'm Derby Till I die ?

Couldn't agree more; been following this club for some 48 years, so been through more than a few downs as well as the ups.
I'm really looking forward to a CK + WR partnership.  I said way back there was something about CK taking over that excited me - it still does. He's young. He's ambitious. He's passionate.  He's in touch with what it means to be a fan.  But he's also no fool.  If he can get the deal done I'm looking forward to another exciting chapter in our history. And I'm really keen to see what WR can do building a team of his own design.
We will "be back" as many state, but am old enough and wise enough to appreciate it may mean more than a year or two in L1 as we completely rebuild.  And it is a complete rebuild. Either way, I'll be along for the ride.

As a Gloucestershire based fan the silver lining will be Cheltenham and I hope Forest Green away
As a 10 year old I am sure I watched my Dad play against Forest green in the Hellenic league and my best mates little brother got a contract with Cheltenham before they were in the league proper
It is going to get personal

We travel from Cambridge. Went to match yesterday. travelled up Friday afternoon - had pub meal in Derby Friday on arrival, bought present for family member in Derby shop and visited Friday paying for parking, stayed in hotel and paid for some electric vehicle charge/parking Friday night, bought breakfast in cafe Sat morning, to main shops and bought some stuff Saturday morning, coffee and cake before heading to match, parking fee to I assume a Derby person at match, Frankie & Bennys after match whilst waiting for traffic to clear so fed and ready for drive home missing traffic. Plus match tickets, drinks in ground and couple bits in megastore. Is that enough for you as a fan who lives away?

Actually that’s the quality I thought Isaw in him shining out like a beacon when he first arrived. Whoops!
I watched him after the final - he spike with each of the players, then spent the rest of his time on the pitch circling the melee of people, looking at the Rams fans, and I knew then that he was gone, and had probably already left the club in his mind a while before. And I thought “You are not going to get this kind of rapport with the Chelsea fans”.
Actually Wayne Rooney has shown us all what integrity is with how he has acted as manager.
