I think he'd be best advised to stay away. Violence is so unnecessary and damaging most of the time and can't be condoned of course.
That said, and acknowledging it doesn't reflect well on me, if he got a pasting I'd struggle to care less.
I don’t think your alone with those thoughts

Therein lies our problem. How do EFL arrive at £4500. Is it an algorithm designed to get us relegated on goal difference.

Watne said in his interview that when he gets the triallists in, then we will have a good squad, so he agrees with me.
As do I
he’s had his hands tied ridiculously
think we all.. Wayne included just want to see some bodies over the line just to relax us all as much as anything

Apart from Clarke going I do not see a great drop from last season if we get the triallists that Wayne wants. Mid table will be a big improvement and represent a good squad with several young players on the way through. So many players underperforming last season. Reasonable performances from most of the triallists would mean a big improvement.
It’s actually a very fair point
of the ones who left
Clark is the only one that consistently performed … he was very much part of a pretty pathetic back line .. which still somehow looked even worse when he wasn’t present
Marriotts contribution was literally nothing
waghorn was pretty dire most of the year … bar that final game
Edmondson , mengi ,meh some good and bad.
if u get bielik in and fit that negates most of not what we’ve lost and some
I’m still horribly concerned and want answers or actual action from the club and Mel come Wednesday but u never know we may fudge it

Has Rooney done post match presser yet ?

Sancho has got posters of Ebosele on his bedroom wall.
Louis sibley is sitting in that dressing room right now and can literally feel the weight of Derby expectation being lifted from his shoulders while all of a sudden festy is feeling 30k fans hopes, dreams and expectations descend upon his young shoulders ?
poor sod hasn’t a clue what he’s let himself in for lol

Still why is Ebosele not playing on the wing?? Byrne RB???
Great run to win a penalty!
The thing is
The higher up the pitch u play the more attention u come under .. if ur starting from deep it gives u license and clearer picture of where the space is to exploit
Playing higher up the pitch with a defender up ur arse is a totally different proposition to playing from deep with everything infront of u
there’s a back catalogue of quick winger type full backs who u think can they play higher up due to their feet , speed and technique .. truth is it’s a totally different ball game

When was the last time one of our defenders scored a header from a corner?
I seem to remember Matt Clarke kept coming close, did he ever get it over the line in the end?
My memory fails, the best I can remember is Darren Moore, in the second leg of the playoffs against Southampton ??
Sir lord Buckenbauer against the red dogs … well that’s the one i choose to remember

Cheers for the updates Dave

Maybe I misunderstand the way tax for companies works but I thought they paid based on profits? It's the reason Amazon don't pay tax (because in theory they reinvest all the money they make and therefore make no profit)
So until the EFL sign off our books for the last few years we can't pay our HMRC bill accurately - I'm sure that's why Coles mentioned we'd "throw some money their way" - because we'd have to estimate how much to pay
The obvious exception I can think to this would be PAYE - which they would know and if they haven't paid it would be daft
Pretty sure they also have several offshore “ trust ” accounts they squirrel millions into to avoid paying tax on
anyone with money does it which is why our tax system is ducked .. it’s also incredibly easy to do

Was born in reading … not a million miles away from the old elm park
Born in Matlock Dad was stalwart Derby and it was only a matter or time before he migrated us back up towards the midlands .. unfortunately for me we only stopped back in Derby for a couple of years due to a bad house move so ended up in Nottingham but that didn’t stop me following him around the country watching my now beloved rams
sadly now it’s a journey I have to carry on alone
still never forget those early years back in the late eighties standing on a milk crate in the popside then the ritual of waiting no matter the weather for the green paper
happy days

Grealish is 26 next month, he’s hitting his prime and barely got a game for England in the Euro’s.
How can you be a £100m player and not one of the first names on the team sheet for your country?
We made it to the final so it’s not like you can criticise Southgate for picking the wrong teams.
Sancho, 21, 38 goals for Dortmund, already scored 3 for England which is 3 more and he’s what, £24m cheaper than Grealish.
Had Man City have given Sancho a chance and didn’t have to move to Dortmund, would have saved even more money which is bonkers.
Grealish changed the tempo and direction of several games for us
arguably Southgates biggest mistake was not getting him on W lot ok we I. The final
couldn’t have been so different
it is also worth noting that Southgate is an overly cautious manager (two holding mids) and seldom breaks from that .. pep is a lot lot more forward thinking

Maybe explains why Baldock and Aluko left
But if what’s being written is true we can only pay 4.5k so why have they rocked up here ?

As you must have seen, there is some anger towards to the EFL, but the more vocal anger is aimed at Mel and Pearce.
Now if you go right back to the start, why did we spend so much money it was to compete with the teams at the top that were receiving the anti competitive parachute payments.
Where did our relationship with the EFL go wrong? Mel trying to get them to understand the value of their product when negotiating with Sky for the TV deals. Something which would have helped all EFL clubs.
I’m not saying no mistakes have been made, it’s not all the EFL’s fault but all intentions were made with improving the EFL and ambition to be in the Premier League.
The reason I’m not jumping on the hate the club bandwagon is simple, I was happy at the time, thought it was great fighting for promotion, loved having Lampard here, Mount, Wilson, Tomori and for me, aside from the Jim Smith era this has been the best longest periods where I’ve loved watching us play.
Hindsight, yeah let’s not sign Butterfield, Johnson, Anya etc. Let’s not employ Nigel Pearson and Paul Clement but here we are, no time for tears, we need to dust ourselves down and rebuild to go again.
It will happen, not overnight but it will happen.
Playing devils advocate David
Is it fair to say though that u like myself and everyone else were enjoying those good times .. if someone had told u at the time it would come at a major cost (aka this situation now) would we still have taken it ?
If we had known Mel and Pearce were gambling with our clubs future I wager many of us would have had taken a much different stance on it .. fair comment ? -
Each to your own
grealish is the real deal for me and already more than proven in this league and level
sancho has to adapt to our game first before we can judge him
quality yes and im confident he will be a hit .. but Werner came to England with a bigger reputation and looks a total waste
grealish is absolute top drawer no questions
When ben white moves for 50m quid 100m for grealish seems a snip relatively
Take ur point on Rightmove though ?

You say laughing stock, but all clubs are laughing stocks for whatever reason.
We laughed for years when Fawaz was at Forest.
We laugh when Forest lose.
We laugh when Leeds get knocked out of the cup.
We laugh we Wycombe try to push for a points deduction to be applied immediately as they wasn’t good enough to stay up.
I’m laughing at Man City spending £100m on Jack Grealish.
I mean if you don’t like being part of a club that’s laughed at, football isn’t for you.
Honestly couldn’t care less if Boro, Leeds, Bristol City and Forest fans are all laughing at us. Not one bit.
Who’s laughing at Man City for spending 100m on jack grealish ?
he’s an exceptional player that will make a fantastic side even better
i think the thing with our situation is that it’s all totally self induced … and we’re doing everything in our power to drag it on as long as possible
and try living in the middle of Nottingham .. it’s a lot harder to care less trust me lol
Poll: Do we fans need a 'pound of flesh' from Mel?
