We were here so it wasn't that difficult. After the fourth official spoke to him Warne was mostly sat in the dugout with Barker doing the coaching.

Take from it what you will. It was the only time in the match that Warne reacted like that and I thouhgt it was instructive that it was after Sibley said something to him given the speculation about their relationship.
Warne seemed to want to spend the first 20 mins berating the fourth official until the fourth official got really bored of him and marched him back to his technical area.
 

I'm not so sure about that. There was a point in the first half (think it was after the goal but I can't remember) when Warne goes to the touchline and says something to Sibley who is about 15 yards away. Sibley says something back and Warne turns round looking unhappy and says quite loudly "effing hell" and marches back to the dugout.

All of his jokes come across as passive aggressive.
He should cut that out and either praise or criticise, not tease his players.
Other than that his interviews are all pretty honest.

As someone who took on a fair amount of criticism for arguing we weren't playing that badly a few weeks ago...I thought we were pretty poor first half tbh.
We constantly gave the ball away and were probably the scrappier of the two teams.
One moment of magic out of nowhere gave us the lead. Orient missed a couple of good chances and so did Collins. 
So imo we were fairly fortunate to be in the lead. A stupid red card really put them in the cart and a sweeping move a minute into the 2nd half suddenly gave us a comfortable situation.
I didn't think we shut them out as well as we could and they alnost got back into it.  They eventually tired and over committed and we then could have scored 4 or 5.
So a strange game really. We could have won even more easily but at times we played quite averagely and all the big moments went our way.
Just as a few weeks ago I was saying we weren't that bad, I'm saying yesterday we weren't that amazing. Little moments are going our way more and we are moving into a great position with more in the tank. 
We can play much better than yesterday - and probably will do and not win, that's football.

We have a squad of above average players for the league, as has been proven massively by our recent form. You're not getting out of calling the squad laughably average that easily.
I couldn't care less whether you want to crow about recent results or not tbh. We're achieving results at the level we should be with the squad, no more than that.
That doesn't make people's concerns about the long term under Warne any less valid, just because you're focussed entirely on the short term .
 
 

Went today. Good win. Helped by the sending off. Personally, I still found it a frustrating watch. Turnover of possession so quick. Too many long diagonals. Goals not really coming from sustained pressure, just rather staccato.

Great win, it could and probably should have been 4 or 5.
We didn’t play particularly well, but we have definitely improved our incisiveness, our low crosses are a big improvement, now we just need someone in there putting them away.
The defence was fairly solid as usual after a couple of shaky moments and midfield got to grips with it eventually.
The good news this was comfortable and we can play much better.
Onwards and upwards!

I'm leaning towards Day 3 of Derbyshire vs Gloucestershire at the County Ground on the 7th.
In terms of Wembley trips I'm still not over the 1994 Play Off Final - got the Video somewhere, unwatched to this day.
Bit of advice, if you're really upset after a game don't neck four cans of Stella in two minutes or not before establishing where the coach is stopping - it's a long way from Wembley to Warwick Services.

Yeah, I'm fighting a losing battle with many on here. Going to try keep fighting the good fight, purely because I think it's an interesting way to view our performances with biases removed, but I accept it'll always be dismissed by a lot of posters as it seems to make them irrationally angry or annoyed, not entirely sure why! 

I recall swearing on the terraces and a lot of aggressive behaviour towards opposition fans but none of the chants I recall contained references to players' anatomies!
It all seems to have gone a bit puerile and I most dislike the aggressive behaviour of Derby fans to other Derby fans. 
Of course, there was racist and homophobic chanting back then, too. Nowadays these are rightly totally unacceptable but there are less ways to challenge the other unacceptable behaviour as it is happening. 
A clip round the ear, your arm up your back, being dragged out by your collar and a night in the cells maybe taught a few swift sharp lessons to those who went too far. 
Nowadays the stewards stand back an film you and you might just hear something weeks later if they can work out who you are! 

I think the concern is really that we haven't clicked. We're doing just enough, but I worry that it isn't sustainable in the long run. 

Just started watching 'Elementary' on Amazon Prime a couple of days ago. The series (all right, 7 series in excess of 150 episodes) was made by CBS and is a contemporary take on Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.
6 episodes in and really enjoying it.

I’ve been very much on the fence with regards to Warne. I hate the chopping and changing and really wanted him to succeed. I keep hoping that we’re turning a corner but yesterday was yet another awful performance only rescued by NML - without him we’d have been praying for a 0-0 bore draw…. And then to hear the obnoxious manager being interviewed on RD and patronising Dom about the formation “we changed the formation in the second half and if you didn’t notice that, you don’t get football” was disgraceful. We may make the playoffs, we’re might even scrape automatics if we can put a solid run together, but I’m finished with the bloke and his stupid hats - sooner he’s gone the better…..

Aside from admin and Morris the things that have made me most angry about derby in recent years was Rooney dragging Whittaker off after bringing him on. w*** management and spelled the end for a promising young player. 
 
Never understand the grief he gets from our fans - his only crime was to not set the world on fire as a young lad coming into a team permanently fighting fires. 

Erm, no - Warne doesn't care about the academy so until that changes I'll keep saying it. I'm sorry. 

He was also the player who forced Bristol backwards immediately before Fornah won it back for our winner. He was our 4th best player according to Whoscored with 7.03, behind Cashin, Mendez-Laing, and Fornah. It surprised me he rating was so high, but looking at the stats... he had the joint most shots on target, joint most key passes, most tackles, most interceptions, 3rd best pass accuracy, and the most fouled player.

You get applause from Roy mac for that because weather you meant it or not he can use it in his anti Warne campaign 

Hove's a really nice ground and Derbyshire are reasonably competitive there (I'm not going to Durham again). The hospitality for County Championship is reasonably priced as far as I recall.
I'm thinking about Hampshire or Somerset in the 1 day cup as I've been to most of the other grounds we're playing at.

Listen up everyone! We need the all the positivity you can muster on Saturday. We need a sea of black and white and strong voices. Like I’ve said a hundred times on here, when teams stand off us, we pass it round a bit and look okay. The moment a team makes the slightest effort to stop us doing that, we immediately resort to the other stuff and look terrible.  Crewe the other night being an obvious example.  And by and large, teams at this level are going to be trying to stop us playing because we’re one of the biggest teams in the league.
