I think it's at the Piece Hall. Good venue I saw Embrace there last year.
It got really busy in the centre, best to enter via the side entrance off Square Road by the library, much more space and easier to get close to the stage and the bars.

Afraid my gig-going days are probably over now - although it was nice going to see (half of) The Who at the Encora a few months ago. Amazing to think that Townshend is 78 and Daltry is 80.

Never watched the original few series..... and as I've said before I'm dubious of domestic series such as Happy Valley/Line of Duty/Bodyguard that people rave about.
Actually really impressed. Gritty, good dialogue, well acted... just very watchable in a Sweeney type, 'police aren't all black and white good/bad' kinda way.

Stumbled across Trying on Apple TV this week and gone through 2 series out of 4.
Rafe Spall and Ester Smith really work well together.
It's a light hearted feel good story of a London couple going through the adoption process incorporating their families and friends lives.

I loved him to bits. He betrayed everything a decent person in his place should hold dear; his team-mates, his responsibilities as captain, the club, the fans. He can rot in hell.

So sad. I remember the peno shootout at old Trafford. A real gutsy player who seemed to have integrity.

The Joiners, his behavior, the gall to sue, the lack of humility ? Well may that’s life, survival or whatever we all have to do but he wrecked his name in my view. Pity. A courageous player on the field.

Moving from my lifelong home in Suffolk to Derbyshire to be nearer our team is on the agenda for next year.
I might have to learn to speak to strangers though, not natural behavior in these parts!

Fair play to Carlisle brought 2000 and bottom of league but try and play football and have a good manager in our Simmo

Nice bloke clearly. Great interview. Excellent achievement gaining promotion. He clearly deserves the opportunity to take us forward next season. But his football approach still leaves me cold. I wasn’t aware but the Sky Comms said today that the players get a day off for scoring at a set piece. Sounds like a nice bit of man management, but it reinforces my belief that he is too focussed on set piece success and having fit scrappers prepared to win their share of second balls, than having a team that might play some decent football. Don’t give them days off - try getting them to pass to each other in tight situations. As I posted on the matchday thread, we looked very ordinary today. I actually said woeful at HT, but fortunately we did raise it a little second half.
Delighted of course to be back in the Champ, and really pleased for Clowes.

We were promoted the first two seasons I had a season ticket, all seemed very easy. I even remember going to Villa Park where if we'd won we'd have gone top of the league. It's not quite been all downhil since then but I've definitely learnt to enjoy the good bits because there can be a lot of average inbetween.
I think the last time I was on the pitch was after the Southampton game (thanks Iñigo). Had been working in Swansea until mid afternoon, three trains and a taxi from the station got into PPS 10 minutes into the game - had to walk home in a suit that was totally drenched but it didn't matter by then.

Clowes developments have just teamed up with Wavensmere Homes to develop Friar Gate Goods Yard (£75 million) and Wavensmere are developing the old DRI site (£175 million) so they are heavily invested in Derby. Could be putting two and two together to get five but I'd guess it's more likely than Gadsby.
