Yeah my bad ta. Mackenzie Hughes - I blame the fact I was talking to the wife about an upcoming camping trip to Swiss Farm in Henley and I was replying, and flipping typed Henley - brain and fingers out of sync. ?♂️

dabber got a reaction from GenBr in when can we expect the player retained list?
Sadly Derby need to have wisdom to consider keeping Wisdom, and going by last season's debacle I don't see any hope that Wayne's last couple of neurons will be firing anytime soon

I share your joy. Mrs P bought me a nesting box with camera last year, too late for nesting. However, in March this year there were obvious signs of a nest being built by the blue tits. So we've been watching the progress up until a couple of weeks ago, by which time the last three chicks disappeared overnight. Sadly we didn't see any of them actually leave.
Unfortunately, although I thought originally the camera covered the whole of the base, it in fact only covered about 2/3rds, the nest being mainly in the 1/3rd we couldn't see. Massive failure! We don't even know how many chicks there were but it was at least 6.
However, we did discover one unusual trait. The feeding parent would give a 'cheep' and the chick would present it's backside and have the poo pulled out and disposed of, somewhere outside the box.
Camera now adjusted to cover whole of base. I can recommend one, but make sure you adjust the camera before nesting occurs.

I urge everyone to give this a read. You can question his tactics but not his man management or his integrity.

A couple of blue tits decided to nest in our wall mounted smoking bin at work this spring.
Was outside yesterday having a fag at a safe distance and witnessed one of the chicks standing on the edge of one of the holes, warily deciding to take its first flight - with cheeps of encouragement from one of the parents in a nearby bush. Off it went, eventually, for a loop of the car park and then disappeared behind the building out of view.
Warmed the heart, I can tell you.
By this morning, the nest was empty, so presumably all the chicks (at least 6) had done the same.

To any Everton fans dropping by & wondering how Rooney has got on;
1. Great results...we were absolutely cast adrift at the bottom (2 points) with a mere 35 games to go & he kept us up! AMAZING
2. Great football...I once saw 4 passes strung together in a game. TIKA TAKA
3. Great at blooding the kids. Louie Sibley credits him with being the player he's become. GURU
4. Tactical svengali. Bit worried about City's pass & move or Liverpool's gegenpress? Dont be! Rooney will just copy the oppo...job done! GENIUS
Makes sense Everton, get the boy wonder home ?

I understand your sentiment but please don’t forget the fans. We ARE the football club. I remember Clough on ITV, speaking in front of fans protesting against Maxwell, saying that we would be here long after Maxwell was gone. He was right.
Maxwell, Morris, Keogh, Glenn Skivington...we have and will see them all off and will be left standing. We are Derby. We are here because we care and all the mud and poo being thrown at us from all sides can slide off as far as I am concerned because, as much as I dislike it at the moment, I am bonded to and love this football club. So Gibson, EFL, bitter Leeds fans and the twitterati can all sod off.

Given that our prospective new owner has been spouting off at journalists on twitter before he's even taken control, it doesn't fill me with confidence that this will be something he does.

In the words of Arthur Cox, it's all "pure journalistic speculation".

Train driving and not knowing what is happening is a bad combo.
Left Manchester, we were down and out.
Reach Blackpool, and we've survived.
Glad I didn't have to watch that 2nd half... ?
