Mr Tingle was head when I was there and the first to give me the cane.

Miss Draper, Mr Billings etc. Er Stevenson rings a bell but definitely not Tingle. I was at Nightingale from about 1953 to 57.

oldtimeram
I remember getting sent off in a game against Shelton Lock for answering the ref back. Next day I got the cane when I got into school I argued that it was out of school hours but I still got caned lol REDCAR

As a ref (retired) myself, I think you got off lightly 🙂
Ambitious
Gutted - the team have come on in leaps and bounds but you feel that his return could've propelled us on again. I think he's likely to miss: Hull, Preston at home. Stoke, Coventry & Preston away. If we can get him back for the home games against Swansea and Sheff Wed then that would be a huge boost. angieram

You might be a bit ahead of me as the cane was banned when I was at the junior school. Archied
Comrade 86
These injuries are getting critical now. Feels like donkeys since we had a good run with close to our strongest 11 on the pitch. It feels like one step forward at the moment. Incredibly frustrating for all concerned, especially the coaching staff. So , when Adams came , he made a massive difference by adding muscle in midfield . Away from home in the Championship , it helps to add even more . Hope it’s not much too longer for Ozoh . CapeTownRams
Surely questions need to be start being asked about our training team/staff/regime…. The number of injuries to players over the last 18 months have been out of the ordinary… Reggie Greenwood
