I think Spain were easily the better footballing side, especially in the first half, but their tactics in the second half have left a nasty taste in the mouth. Timewasting, shirtpulling, sly elbows.

That defender pretending to be nobbled to win free kicks, so cynical. 🤷

Thank goodness Derby never resort to such tactics. 😀

Their gaffer's a proper s********, so I'm not entirely surprised. It's a shame, but I guess it's inevitable that it'll creep into the women's game with the stakes getting higher in tandem with the game's profile.

It’s all one and the same. The system involves the people that use it. Don’t separate it.

It should be separated. VAR gives the officials an opportunity to correct a mistake but sadly they're invariably not up to the job, although the constant changing of the laws hasn't helped.
