Clarke-Harris, the league's top scorer has the same number of goal contributions against the top sides too, but in 15 games rather than McGoldrick's 12. That's also in a side which scores more than Derby.

And look where Posh are in the league. Isn’t that the point?

Just watched highlights from yesterday, also heard that 18 of Didzys goals have been at Pride Park so think we should ignore them too.

Only 7 goals is an awful return for a player of his quality.

And how good is our away form?

I'm not sure anyone knows what your point is. How many players have a better goal contribution record than McGoldrick vs top 9 sides?

5th best away record in the league (season) and 4th best (last 6 games)

Did you know that if we had taken six points off Ipswich and Plymouth, we would be in the top two right now?

The point is fairly simple. Unless we can find a way to beat the better teams, we will not get promoted.

So far the team, and Didzy, have proven they are flat track bullies who struggle to cope with the better sides in the division.

That is why we are scrapping into the playoffs and not challenging for top two. It is also why we will be rank outsiders against whoever finishes 3rd or 4th should we make the playoffs.

What is this flat track bullied garbage you have started coming up with now?

I don't remember you applying this rule when you used to go on about how great Messi and Barcelona were?

Did you know if we had beaten Man Utd in the FA cup semifinals in 1976 we would probably have gone on to win the cup.

Unless we can secure a playoff spot and subsequently beat whoever we play in the knockout playoff games we will not be promoted.
Of the teams likely to be in the playoffs;

we have drawn with and beaten Bolton this season.

we have lost to, drawn with, and beaten Barnsley this season.

we have lost to and beaten Peterborough this season (if by some miracle Bolton drop out of it)

we have drawn with Sheffield Wednesday this season.

We also competed well against Ipswich and Plymouth.

There are better teams than ours in this league, but on our day we have shown we can beat almost all of them and the only side that really outclassed us was Ipswich a couple of weeks back, when our form and confidence was in the pan. Your comment that we “struggle to cope against the better teams” isn’t true.

IF we can make the playoffs it’s anyone’s to win. For me your point about McGoldrick is essentially moot, he has scored a ton of goals for us across the season and there’s still every chance he can and will continue to do so in our remaining games.

Record between the teams currently in the Playoffs, with the game between Derby and Sheff Weds still to be played.

Barnsley - 10 points

Derby - 8 points

Bolton - 6 points

Sheff Weds - 5 points

Rank outsiders? Really? A win on three final day and we go into the playoffs with the best record in the mini-league. Even with a defeat, we wouldn't have the worst record.

Why would it apply to Messi and Barcelona? They regularly beat the best teams with Messi regularly scoring. He is the all-time clasico top scorer.

Derby on the other hand have won 2 games in 14 under Warne against top half sides.

Our most recent games against anyone remotely decent has ended in defeat, while Didzy’s goals just happen to dry up the moment we face anyone remotely competitive at the top.

He’s also scored penalties and most of his goals have been with his stronger right foot. He's obviously a right footed flat track bully and the only goals that should count are headers and left footed shots against top 6 opposition away from home. Didzy hasn’t even scored in the el Classico get rid I say 😀

From memory, when Barcelona were winning the league it was only because they were beating teams below them.

Flat track bullies I say.

When did we draw with Barnsley?
